The food had good flavor, but the service was a little rough. The server was delivering 2 entrees, one to my husband and the other to 3 tables away. I waited an additional 5 minutes to get my food. You could tell it was sitting for a while because the enchiladas were soggy. The server took my water cup to refill and came back with it 10 minutes later. There were only 4 tables in her section mind you, so it wasn't busy. While the building is beautiful, they were playing techno...
The authentic tacos are incredible. The red enchiladas, not so good. I've heard that the green enchiladas as much better. Almost everyone in our group order pollo loco. It has plenty of food with black beans and rice. One person order carne asada, which has a nice mix of spices that were not overpowering. We didn't have to wait for a table even though there were 10 of us. Food came right away. Waitress was nice and attentive. Prices are reasonable.
I love Josè's it's a super cute restaurant and it surprised me how big the back area and bar is! It's a great place to come to with friends, family, and/or business lunch / dinner. Highly recommend 👌
