A friend and I had Sunday brunch there not long ago. We made sure to get there by no later than ten fifteen or so when they first opened because we knew they would be crowded. Food was excellent and the service was very good. Very nice atmosphere, music was playing, but not very loudly, so you could actually have a decent conversation which was refreshing.!

I occasionally have multiday stays in Springfield for work. I make it a point to stop in the Public House. Every time I eat here the food is outstanding, as are the drinks. You can't go wrong, this place is a gem. Definitely try the TN tobacco barn!

You gotta get a burger here! Fresh, cooked to order burgers. We were craving a REAL burger instead of fast food and decided to order carryout from Public House. I got cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and pickle for mine. (Just note it's a pickle spear and not sliced pickles, I personally wanted sliced pickle for my burger but no biggie) My ONLY complaint isn't even about the burgers.... it's the fries. They were way overcooked, hard as a rock and way over salted....
