Dinner here this early evening was delicious. The Crab Dip was really tasty and the house salad really special. Best of all was the Filet Mignonette with mashed potatoes. Stephanie, our server, was attentive and helpful. If you haven’t tried The Public House, you definitely should.

Everything was wonderful, the service was outstanding… We had a new server Alexis, hope I spelled her name right, anyway so personable, engaging and very attentive. The food is consistently good, and the beer selection is spot on

Just had our second meal here and absolutely loved it!! My husband enjoys the TN Tobacco Barn libation and I enjoy my Tisdale Moscato. The food both times has been so flavorful, hot and served by great people. Can't wait to go back and try new items. To date we have had the Spicy Crab Dip, Slow Braised Pork Belly, Crab Stuffed Shrimp & Grits, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, French Onion Soup and their salads and dressings complimented each entree. Great pairings!!!

We really enjoyed the whole experience at Public House. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed the food as well! We got pub fries, wings, the pimento cheese dip and the crab cake sandwich. They were all delightful. Their drinks were also very good!

A good place to eat, calm atmosphere when not busy. A little crowded when busy. Food is pretty good, staff are nice too

The food menu was small but elegant which is good. The food however was over seasoned. Too much parsley. The staff was friendly the atmosphere was lively and homey. The drinks and selections were quite nice. Overall a nice little find.

Awesome place with a cool variety hidden right in the heart of historic springfield. Cannot recommend the tobacco bitter whisky drink enough.

I've been here 4 times now and I've decided it'll be my last. It's not a terrible restaurant, but it's been consistently underwhelming and hasn't improved. The filet was cooked well, but blandI've ordered the bratwurst/sausage twice and it was overcooked both timesThe pork belly appetizer was served as a single chunk of meat in a bowl. I don't understand why you wouldn't slice this before serving.Like I said, the restaurant isn't especially bad, it's just been consistently worse than other local restaurants

Food was good. Beer was good. Service was good. Was made to wear a mask to walk 3 feet to my table while also being the only party there. Would be 5 if they weren’t weenies about masks.
