This was the second time we went there! We got the Rib platter both times! They were the best I ever had! They use Hickory wood but the flavor was just right not over smoky! Cute little atmosphere with a Bar and pool table on one side and the Restaurant on the other! Definitely looking forward to going back again and again to try everything else! Would definitely recommend driving an hour or more to eat here!

I recently purchased a pound of brisket and an half of rack order yesterday, 09/20/25, and was Not satisfied in the very least. The brisket and ribs lacked flavor completely! The ribs were very tough and dry, like they weren’t cooked on a low enough temp and wasn’t wrapped. The brisket lacked seasoning and color. Tasted like it was a couple days old, and flavorless. We did not taste any smoke in the meat at all, which is rare for Willie Mae’s. Not sure what’s change but quality has For Sure dipped.

Barbecue was good but on Texas toast not on bun. No pickles or BBQ sauce. Bake beans good. Only issue was 3.99 for 4 oz banana pudding. Loved the decor.

We tried Willie Mae's BBQ for the first time yesterday. The staff was nice and restaurant was clean. The food was good for the most part but I think the meals should include two sides vs one. I appreciate the meat portion being generous but the sides are small and we both had meat only at the end. Also, we didn't know it was extra to get cornbread, just thought bread was included. The many sauce choices was nice and they were really good!
This is a great place to eat and enjoy dinner. Love the pulled pork!
