We are down here in Big Sandy on vacation from central Kentucky, and decided to try a local place to eat on our 2nd night here. First off: we fed 6 of us, full meals with quality bbq, for $61. The value alone is worth a 5 star. The food was definitely above average. The absolute only complaints we had were that the slaw was made with mayo, and the tater salad was a little bland. As far as bbq quality, it was top notch. I'm a fan of bbq taters, and this one was on par with the best ones I've had. The atmosphere is 100% country and welcoming, like I'm used to getting in my hometown in Kentucky. The ladies running the shop were very friendly and had everything done quick. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone passing through western Tennesee. It would be worth the detour.
