Chicken and dumplings just like Mom’s with large chunks of white meat and small, firm dumplings in a creamy, flavor-filled gravy. Fresh cornbread. Cool, creamy coleslaw. The Superburgers were immense. The fries hot, crispy. and crinkled. Served by a cheerful, friendly, helpful server who knew most of the guests by name. No wonder every table was occupied at 12:30 pm. We will be back to sample their famed chocolate pie and - another helping of chicken and dumplings.
I’ve been eating here some lately and always have great food and friendly service. Usually get Cheeseburger or the Hamburger steak. Sweet tea always good. Just great local place to drop in to try something different.
