We enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant! We had two buffets and one meal there were 3 of us.The food is good for the price of 8.99 unlimited breakfast buffet! The service was amazing!!!! The service is why this place gets 5 stars.Food review- biscuits, hash brown casserole , gravy, mushrooms and sausage hit the spot!Fruit tasted fresh and the French toast was good! Sweet tea was yummy and I'm usually not a fan.Server- she was amazing, kind, kept our cups filled and kept checking on usGeneral store- I love that it had everything from Imodium to candles. Lots of really nice items and the price about the same as any other place.
Best buffet ever with amazing service. We ate lunch here 3 days in a row. 2 of those days, our server was Cameron and he was great!!! My favorites of the delicious foods include fried chicken, pork chops, Salisbury steak, hush puppies, spaghetti… now that I think about it, nothing was bad. We will drive 8 hours one way to eat here again. Can’t wait to come back.
Traveling through the area and saw that this restaurant was near the Sweetwater, TN Holiday KOA and received decent reviews so decided to try it rather than cook that night. I did not find it as good as Cracker Barrel. However, for those who want alot of food cheap, the buffet is definitely for you! However, I must mention that the sService was excellent.
An honest review would lead me to sharing that the food was OK, not bad but nothing to get excited about. We came in at the very end of their breakfast buffet service on Sunday morning. My wife elected to have the buffet and just hurry thru and load a plate while I opted for a breakfast sandwich. She shared that most items on the buffet were pretty good but she also found that the country ham was so salty it was not edible and one of the hashbrown dishes on the bar was far from pleasing, aside from that she seemed pleased with everything else. My sandwich was just bacon and egg, my bacon was a bit overcooked (tho we all have different preferences there obviously) but more alarming was the fact that they actually served me hashbrowns that were so far beyond being done that I didn't even bother addressing it with our server, a kitchen that will send charred food to the table isn't a kitchen that I want to upset and send anything back to.....these were almost comical as to how beyond done they were and lastly we are in the south, sweet tea should be sweet. Now all of that said believe it or not I would go back, when speaking to locals while shopping later in the day they all raved about the place (I kept my experience to myself), my guess is maybe since we caught them in the transition period between breakfast and lunch that next time won't be so bad.
We had the buffet. NO FRIED CHICKEN!The main item was Salisbury steak. Does anyone really know what is a Salisbury steak? They had ham and some creamy and chicken. The only real veggie was green beans. We wanted a warm meal but we were seated without a menu. We assumed it was buffet only. We waited 10 minutes for drinks and to be told 'to help ourselves'.We asked 3 times for dinner rolls. The desserts were 3 things that looked like bread pudding, a chocolate pudding, something blueberry and very soft serve ice cream. We only saw our waitress once. I've never skipped the tip but service was non existent. We were very surprised this place got such high ratings.I wish we had tried Brad's BBQ.
Dinner Bell was a pleasant visit after a long travel for sure! Our waitress was very kind and attended to us frequently. The chefs did an amazing job on the food! It was clean and quaint. The atmosphere felt like if you came to visit your favorite grandmother and she made every favorite food you loved. It was very homey feeling. If we ever come this way again for vacation this will make an appearance I'm sure of it. Thank you for your hospitality!
Good service, good buffet, lots to choose from and plenty of it!! Ate breakfast, everything from scrambled eggs, bacon, country ham, fried baloney, French toast, pancakes and the list goes on. If you walk away hungry, it's your fault! Reasonable price too. Great waitstaff.......they take good care of you
It's a converted Cracker Barrel. But the good thing is they still have the gift shop, full of local items. They have a lunch buffet, which my husband got. I'm not a buffet gal, so I ordered off the menu. I got.a chicken sandwich and it was pretty dry. Service great. Easy access in and out of restaurant. No stairs. I would try again and get something different.
Incredible home cooked food! Best in memory, maybe best ever! Truly amazing! From creamy lemon-butter chicken to meatloaf, fried okra, greens and sweet potatoes, if you love Southern cooking, check this place off your bucket list now.
Came to Sweetwater for church and saw this place on the way back to the interstate. Lots of cars in the parking lot, but we were surprised at how big it was and we were seated right away. You can order from the menu or do the buffet. We chose the buffet and really enjoyed our meal of "down home" type cooking. Very reasonably priced.

Salad bar is always the best. Hot bar is ok. They have served better. I'm glad to be adult again and fix my own plate. Love it. My waitress sucked. Sorry.
I have ate here for many years traveling up and down I-75. It's always good, clean and reasonable price for such a variety of choices. Anybody that can't find something they like here is just an old grump that can't be pleased by anything. Keep up the good work.
This is such a great place to eat. They actually still have a buffet. It has changed from self service though. They will serve you now in the buffet line. The menu is vast. If you're looking for great breakfast then this is definitely the place to come.
Very nice place. Our son took us there on our way to Knoxville. The buffet my be small but the food was great. Very friendly staff and filled our drinks without asking. Would definitely stop here again.
We saw a billboard sign on the interstate and decided to give this place a try. We were really impressed with the southern cooking food. With so few home cooking buffets left it was nice to find one. The price was very reasonable, I highly recommend it.
