Health inspection issues. Poor service. Lack of care.

Great food ! Cajun pasta and burger was very good. But very very very slow service. Wait to be seated, wait to order and wait forever for food and lastly wait for a check.

I don’t normally write reviews but this meal was so disappointing. I regret spending the amount of money we did there. The bbq is not true barbecue at all, tastes like it was made in a crockpot. The mac and cheese was ok but the top half was cold from sitting out too long. It’s probably the frozen Panera stuff. I don’t recommend the trout dip at all, very fishy and just not good. The kids chicken tenders obviously come from a frozen bag. House made chips were overdone and lacked salt. And it’s all overpriced for what you get. Our server tried but she had most of the patio tables. It took forever to get menus, drinks, food order and then our food. Upstairs inside dining was dead and wait staff just sitting around instead of helping bus tables that sat dirty for hours. They are clearly short staffed but then there are employees just sitting around upstairs. We nearly left after getting our drinks but it was getting late and the only place nearby is cash/check only. I’d say bring cash and try the drive in instead.

Stopped by for lunch. Was by myself. The only person that acknowledged me was the dish washer. Waited to be seated for 20 minutes or so and waitress kept walking past me. Finally left.

so me and my cousin and mom went and ate about 30 minutes later me and my cousin got super sick, mind you we both ate the same thing, other then that service was super sweet,
bathrooms and floors were dirty tho

First, I apologize for the few photos as I know I have left reviews here before and thought I would just be adding some photos, darn you google.

I found this place during Covit. I lost my job, no one was hiring so I got on my motorcycle and just drove north toward the mountains. No idea or plan on where I was going but ended up stopping in Tellico Plains, TN as I was tired and needed to sleep.

Exhausted I past out that night only to wake up to one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, and I have been around the world, many many many times and places. Seriously, name it, I have been there.

Maybe it was the situation with Covid? They way the world was at that time? I don't know, but waking up to a beautiful sunrise with the beautiful smokey mountains full of green lushes scenery, lakes, rivers, streams, it seemed unreal.

After a great sleep it was time to move on to wherever next but I was starving and needed some real food. The town is tiny and the only food was fast food, which I don't eat. Iron Works Grille popped up on my google search so I took off for lunch.

What a great place and thank God this place exist. Set on the river, you can chill, put you feet in the water, relax on the deck or eat inside.

The food, amazing. Great grille food 100%. I've had the salads, to wings, to burgers, I have never been disappointed. Most recently I had their fried green tomatoes. Let me tell you from some who makes their own from their own home grown green tomatoes their version is 100% legit homemade.

I go here every time I'm in the area. In fact, on my last day in the Great smokey's I made a 4 hour detour to go here. Yep, the atmosphere, food and service are all well worth it.

The bathrooms were filthy. We had to wait over 15 mins for our drinks. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks. Once we received our meal, our waitress did not follow up to see if we needed anything. We had to flag her down to get refills.

We have been to this restaurant several times in the past and we understand they are under new management. Serving staff need to be better trained

Service was great but the food was terrible. Smells like they haven’t changed their frying grease in months. My clothes stunk after I left like old grease. The food tasted like it was fried in old grease. Everyone’s food was overcooked. Would not ever recommend this place.

BBQ was terrible. absolutely terrible. potato salad was good. salad was warm and ranch was gross and store bought. service was good very nice people and it’s nice on the inside. but need to work on the food.

Went to Ironworks grill tonight to give them another try after having food poisoning the last time I went there. Walked in waitress and staff were standing around talking they finished their conversation before greeting us. One of the waitresses was wearing booty shorts that were entirely inappropriate for a family restaurant. The whole restaurant was filled with smoke from the kitchen( serious concerns about their hood vent), sat at a booth by the windows the seat was gross feeling, looking out the window at the beautiful view that was quickly overturned by all the food on the window, spaghetti, barbecue sauce(I think) lots of food smears. It was very obvious it had not been cleaned in a VERY LONG time it was gross and discussing. I guess all those waitress were to busy their phones texting to clean. We walked to the downstairs to get away from the smoke, the pungent smell of sour was overwhelming. Waitstaff was sitting at tables saw us said hi but never got up from their seats or put their phones down. Needless to say we got in our car and left. DO BETTER IRONWORKS.

HAD THE HALF CLUB AND SALAD, SALAD TASTED OLD AND CLUB SANDWICH WAS NOT THAT GOOD AT ALL. SON, HAD BURGER, OK, AND FRIES, WHAT IS THE COATING ON FRIES? LEAVE IT OFF.....

This use to be one of my favorite restaurants, but as of late, they have really gone downhill. They have gone from special of the day, usually a meat and three, to mediocre bar food. 8/5/2025

Stopped for a beer and Raven was a wonderful server Definitely plan on coming back in September for the trout
