We love Country Side Cafe . There’s usually a wait. We don’t mind the wait. This is definitely worth checking out if you’re passing through. They’re very busy on Friday nights. They are closed Sunday and Monday. This little family owned cafe is a local gem.

This is one if those places where locals go for great food and nice atmosphere. The employees, service, prices, quantity and quality of food is amazing. The fried corn nuggets-omg-where have you been my whole life-sooo good. They have a steady "to go" traffic which speaks volumes for this roadside café. Whether you get the burger, catfish, or whatever floats your taste buds, give them a shot -you will not be disappointed.

Food is normally good except for tonight i ordered open face roast beef and it was horrible. I nicely asked for something different and was told i would have to pay for both meals.

Took me 2 1/2 yrs after moving here, and i can't believe how much I was missing out. Family of 4 full dinners under $70, and I have to say they have some of the best catfish I've ever had. Hush puppies, fried okra, shrimp, cheese steak all amazing, and such a plate full of catfish I didn't even have enough room for dessert. We will definitely be making this a regular place. Since it's only 3 miles up the road. Next time definitely trying the fried apple pie.
This place was like going back in time to when my grandmother was still alive, you can’t go wrong with some good old fashion county women food! Everyone was so kind and treated us like family!

We met Eddie and Michelle when they helped us out when we were stuck in the snow. They told us about their restaurant and we made it up today.The food was outstanding! We had chicken tenders, hamburger steak, and a hamburger. The fries were very hot and tasty and the okra and squash were outstanding. Cheyenne, our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we even had a good conversation with 3 of the regular locals who got double hamburgers that made me instantly regret getting chicken tenders. Ha ha. However, we are planning on going back even though it is over an hour trip for us, but it is well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you are a local and if not do yourself a favor and make a trip up to eat. You won't regret it.
