We go here often after school for snacks and drinks. It’s no fancy Olive Garden, but the sandwiches hit the spot every time and the employees are always warm and friendly. No bathrooms. The place has the charm and hospitality of old Franklin. They cut their bologna sandwiches in triangles so it tastes like Mom used to make it. They have a delightful array of shiny pocket knives for sale.
Go there.
I made a quick stop for gas, a drink, and a candy bar. Nice people and a nice atmosphere. I'll go back when I've got more time. Reminded me of my grandpas old store when I was a kid.
Love stopping here for their made-to-order sandwiches, made with generously portioned Boar's Head deli meats.
We first learned of it the first week we moved here, when we went to get our TN license plates. The lady at the county Admin building raved about Huff's.
It's a general store type of setup, so I like coming here for other things as well (groceries, Case knives, etc.).
Takes me back to when I was growing up in the country. Love it!
