Popped in on a Saturday morning and they had a breakfast buffet hot and ready. Delicious biscuits and gravy and the pancakes were so good! Loved the small town feel and all the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Mei did a great job on her first day! We will be back.

Best Salt Rising bread I’ve been able to find after looking for 5 years. Identical to what I had in KY!

An great selection of baked goods. Cookies were excellent and very flavorful. The ginger cookies had a real ginger bite. We arrived just an hour before closing and there was still a wide range of choices.

Today was the first time I've stopped here. Lots of variety and a nice clean old-fashioned ambiance. I purchased salt rising and jalapeno cheddar bread. Both are among the best breads I've ever had, definitely a fan. The bakery is 100 miles from home so it will be a while, but I will be stopping again any time I'm near Tracy City. I also bought cinnamon rolls, but they are saved for tomorrow morning. Edit to add- I warmed up a cinnamon roll in the microwave this morning, it was fantastic.
Parking: On street parking in front and off street along the side.

Dutch Maid bakery is the oldest bakery in Tennessee. It opened in 1902. We stopped here for an early lunch today, and it was DELICIOUS. Both of us had a chicken salad sandwich on toasted fresh handmade sourdough bread, and it was served with chips and a pickle. We loved everything about it. In fact, we asked if we could buy some chicken salad to bring home with us, but sadly, they don’t sell tubs of it to take home. On this rainy early Fall day, this bakery was charming, romantic and the service was excellent. We brought some bread and coffee cake home with us an extra treat. Highly recommend.

Horrible, worst bakery I've ever tried. Please don't waste your time. 45 dollars of items, all in the trash after 1st bite. So disappointed, had high hopes. Can not express how poor quality and taste.

Definitely a place everyone should visit. I was there a few years ago, bought an oatmeal cake, I must say I was disappointed this visit, they were smaller and the cookies were hard. The Whoopie pie was delicious! Disappointed in the breads, the yummy stuff was just on top and left you with plain bread, should be swirled through, in my opinion. All in all, I would recommend a visit, just to say you have been there.

Driving through this town, the smell of fresh bakes goods captivated us. Outstanding bakery, fresh homemade everything. Best cinnamon rolls in the south, homemade custard éclairs, the best. Will definitely be back.
