$10.00 charge at the door to just come in after I get off work at 10:30 pm to drink on Saturday was dumb. Won't be back and did not pay it.

Charging $10.00 after 10 pm!! In a small town. Crazy.. I showed up at 11:17 pm (they close at 12! )They wanted me to pay a $10 cover charge for a beer joint.. barely anyone inside… no events.. nothing special.. dozens of locals walked out and were talking to me in the parking lot. Myself and 10 friends that were on their way.. decided to go else where.. First time they did this ever.. beware of this place.. Friday and Saturday night.. go else where. Hand written cardboard sign on the front door that says this. Will be spreading the word to other locals ..
Staff and regulars are all friendly. Price for a pool table very fair, good quality tables. Food came out a bit slow but tasted good. They serve beers, no hard liquor though. Will return if in the area.

I've been wanting to stop in for a long time, but finally had the opportunity when some friends invited me earlier today. It was my first time in a bar, as well as my first time really playing pool. The staff were very kind, and the environment was very relaxed. The lady that I believe was cooking even showed me how to properly hold a cue. I'll definitely have to stop in again.
