Passing through on a trip and ran across this little jewel. I will definitely be back. Whether you’re just in the area or spending the day on the lake, this place is making waves in a no wake zone!!
We went to see an amazing band, named "Escape". Their high energy performances and music, are in my opinion, top notch. The atmosphere is a very, relax, by the lake theme. The food is delicious to say the least, and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity you get. The whole restaurant sits in the middle of a marina, with a floating dock, and boat access from the lake. The marina also rents boats by the day, and also has cabins and rooms, by the day or by the week.
I was camping at Tims Ford and was looking for a restaurant nearby. I’m glad I found this one! It’s about 10-12 minutes from the visitors center side of the park. I called in my order and it was ready on time. I got the oyster poboy and fried okra. The oysters were surprisingly very good! I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a middle of nowhere marina restaurant, but it was very good! Portions were very large.
