Sundrop Shoppe and Lunchonette

We went last Friday and were not impressed. The food was expensive and basic, and it took them 45 minutes to serve us. I'm not sure how this business survives!

Wonderful service and food

Got off work early and was looking forward to a lunch date with my person. But sadly they close at 2pm instead of 3pm! A bit frustrating, this is the 2nd time we’ve tried to go and they always close early. Won’t try again unless it’s for breakfast.

Great food, friendly and kind staff, grilled cheese sandwich & tomato soup, droolable!!! Wish we were locals, so we could return more often, must try for sure! Grape Sundrop, because they were out of cherry flavored ones.

The four star is for the food. It was a little over salted but good. The service was pretty amazing! Our server was great. She took all four of our orders by memory and got everything right. The restaurant is definitely a very cool blast from the past. We enjoyed the nostalgic feel of yesteryear. Breakfast is always hard to review because the delivery has got to be better than what you can do at home. The staff and the history of this place make it worth stopping in. I wish we were here longer so I could try other things on the menu. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely give it another try.

Our waitress was a joy. Wife enjoyed the French dip but did not care for the au-jus. I had a grilled cheese and bacon. Buttery and well made. Chocolate malt was tasty and very rich with good malt flavor. A bit expensive but enjoyable.

Absolutely love the French Dip sandwich as it all I order from here. I would love to try other menu items , but I had the sandwich once and I’m hooked!! I live far from this lovely cafe otherwise I would try other menu items . The Sundrop float is amazing!!
