This is the second year we celebrated a friend's birthday there (90th and 91st). They treat her like a VIP, not only the staff but, also, the customers. One lovely young woman gave her a monetary gift. A man gave her a commemorative coin and many wished her a Happy Birthday. She had a great time. It's such a happy, Wonder atmosphere. The food is terrific. After lunch she ordered to different sandwiches , a pint of raw oysters and a pound of crawfish. We love this place!

The BEST fried oysters. The freshest oysters, most tasteful Cajun seasoning I have ever eaten! Crab cake was crab, not filling, and Wow! Loved the atmosphere, the staff, everything.
My boyfriend loved the food. Made it all the way to Huntland and was still hot. Will be back to try the stone crab 🦀

Our first time visiting The Seafood Place and we will certainly be back. What's not to like? Great, Fresh and well prepared Seafood. Great selection! Service was wonderful from friendly people ! And, where can you go for Reggae and other good music while having a cold beer? Talk about atmosphere! We highly recommend!

Underwhelming experience. The food was really just mid, and the service wasn't all that. Not really worth the drive from Winchester. Since they want an elaboration, here you go. Yes, it's counter service. However the counter service sucked. The girl was not welcoming or informative in any way. We'd never been in before and the only info she had to offer was a list of what was out of stock. As to the atmosphere being a 3 out of 5, see above. And because of their response to my original review, I'm taking a another star off atmosphere and overall. A whiny owner that can't take criticism speaks volumes to the atmosphere.
This place is incredible. Not your gumbo is my favorite!

Owner was so nice and let us sample several things, we got the fried burrata appetizer that had lobster bisque on the bottom, , the crab and shrimp boil and my husband got the dad bod sandwich!! Everything was delicious!! We also got 2 lobster tails to go!! If you love seafood I highly recommend! This is the freshest you will find in Tennessee!! We will definitely be back to try more things!!! ❤️❤️
