Hops & Barley offers a great selection of brews, with friendly service and delicious catfish. The catfish is always perfectly cooked and breaded. The staff is attentive, making it a great place for group events. The rib-eye steak is a generous 12 oz size, and the food is very good. The atmosphere is simple but elegant, though it can be a bit dark for a noon meal. The place is pretty decent, and the price is good for the food. Service is very friendly, and the place is a little busy and can get noisy, but it's a nice place to get a bite to eat. The cheeseburger is good and has a nice tasty bun, and the straw fries are great. The food is fast and fresh, and the service is exceptional. The Deluxe Brisket Sandwich and fries are delicious, and the chicken sandwich special is great. The noise can be awful, so many customers prefer to get the food to go. The food and service easily deserve more than five stars, and the chicken sandwich, cheese sandwich, and sweet potato fries are all highly recommended. The staff, including Katrina and her assistant, are friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.
