The wait was long due to holiday gatherings, but the food was impeccable. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate and we will be returning. I imagine it's even more beautiful in spring With water views.

Found this place on our way back from Twin Falls. We arrived 10 minutes till 4pm, and glad we arrived early as it didn't take long before the waiting areas filled up. There's an outdoor covered pavillion covered wait area to the right of the restaurant with a lit firepit and there's a large indoor wait area as soon as you walk through the main door. Table, at bar, group table, and patio seating available. Although, the back patio wasn't open this visit. Exterior matches interior with a mix of rustic meets cabin chic. Our server was friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious. We ordered the pretzel knots for the appetizer, the blackened cajun chicken alfredo, the pasta-laya, the pecan crusted catfish, and the apple crumb pie. A little pricey, but so worth it. The welcoming, at home atmosphere along with some of the best cajun food we've ever had and our friendly server ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Restaurantji Recommends
What’s surprise to come across this place while camping at Rock Island SP. We tried the coconut shrimp, blackened chicken Alfredo, steak, cheese bread and mousse cake. The shrimp was wonderful and very pretty presentation (forgot to take a pic). Steak was good, cheese bread had too much salt to eat (really do not recommend that at all) and the Alfredo was good but it seemed the chicken was just premade chunks and not blackened. It seems the blackened seasoning was just sprinkled into the Alfredo so you lost the full Alfredo sauce taste. Really too bad as it was okay but could be better if a fresh chicken breast was cooked then served on to of the pasta. The serving size was huge. The chocolate mousse cake was worth every bite. Check this place out see what you think. I’ll be back but I will be trying something else. We visited just as they opened in November so there was no wait but it was filling up even on a Wednesday.

The food was good. I don’t have a problem with them adding 20% gratuity but they should say that instead of small print on the bill. Our server got 40% tip and didn’t even bring us water. It’s too bad because it’s a nice place outside of that. We won’t be back.

They were not busy. We got there about 6:30 on Tuesday. Was told there was a 45 min wait. Felt as though she was trying to discourage us. We drove an hour to go eat there. We figured we would wait in the bar area and just get a drink while we wait. Nope. They don't have a bartender during the week. Talk about lost revenue. We ordered and got our meal quickly. It all felt very rushed. We left at 8, the sign said they closed at 9 but they closed right after we left. Would have stayed and drank a couple more beers (there were 5 of us) and would have ordered dessert but they really were rushing us. The food was great minus the grits. They were NOT fresh. Everything else was delicious.
