A quaint and comfy coffee shop and bakery. Delicious coffee. They even have ice cream.
Very nice service, too.

Took my mother in law to have a birthday breakfast, the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful for no reason. They wouldn’t even bring anything out for you despite there being two of them with only two sets of customers in there. The food was the most basic sandwich I could’ve made at home premade in a to go box they keep in the fridge with regular white loaf bread and it was dated as being several days old, of course accompanied with it being soggy. Only good parts were the drinks and the decor of the building. Do not use their online menu as reference either because the staff said they have no clue what the stuff if on it is, even though it’s their logo and business name….

A great place to visit after lunch at the Mexican restaurant around the corner, for coffee and ice cream.

Road trip from Nashville to Asheville, stopping in small towns along hwy 70.
Needed a morning break - walked the dog around the square and stopped for coffee and what was advertised as a ‘food menu’ …
Coffee was decent, only a few pastries left in the cold case and nothing available from the menu. When I asked, the employee said he had not prepared anything for food service - this was at 10 am. Bagel was presented as a ‘to go’ where it was clear that I was seated and would dine in.
The atmosphere is quaint, however, there was no ambient music (only the tick of the clock and the hum of the appliances). The place felt a bit lonely and dead !!! Makes me sad that this small town morning stop is not the hub of activity. I could see book club discussions, knitting/crocheting makers, mom’s groups, small business meetings … but that didn’t seem to be the vibe in this coffeehouse.

This is a quaint little coffee shop and farmhouse style storefront that tantalize the senses. From its rich coffee, to sweet treats, and eclectic decor/products. I recommend a stop on this historic square should you find yourself in need of a pick-me-up around Watertown.

We loved the Adopted Farmhouse. My wife and I had Chicken Salad sandwiches that were delicious and served on a croissant. The coffee was excellent. The Adopted Farmhouse had a nice rustic atmosphere. We don't go to Watertown often, but when we do, we still do in at The Adooted Farmhouse.
