One of the best places in terms of service, cleanliness and excellent food. The only thing is the parking but the rest is perfect and the food is served very quickly, hot and with a good flavor. I have been working for more than 2 weeks and I have eaten here almost every day and there is a great variety

If you are in Waverly Tn and are craving Mexican food there is no place better than Las Plazas Mexican Restaurant. The staff is always friendly and professional. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. There is a nice outside dining area as well. And the food, well its some of the best mexican food in Middle Tennessee. So if you want a friendly environment for a family night out come on over to Las Plazas.

Service was terrible per usual same staff new restaurant I told The waiter what I wanted twice and he still messed up my order. They then brought our food to us not only was my order messed up, but also my eight year-old sons order was messed up also. They brought back the right food for me, but didn’t bring my sons right order back to him. Also, my sister-in-law glass was empty for a while and they never refilled that then IWas frustrated so I asked for two to go plates the waiter walks off doesn’t go get them so I end up having to get up and get my own to go plates and decides after seeing me get my own to go plates he decides to bring them.

My husband and I live in Waverly and go to Las Plazas as often as we can. The service is always polite and with a smile. We think it is a comfortable atmosphere. Can't wait until the new Las Plazas restaurant opens just a couple of blocks from them.

I ordered a toco salad to go, i got home and opened it and it was the worst mess ever it looked like someone just dumped stuff in it and it was soggy and no texture it was like it was fajitas and all the juice dumped in it. I wouldnt go back for nothing YUCK
Las Plazas is a regular stop when we’re in Waverly! Gotta have that authentic Mexican food. Great service, and great food! They are very accommodating for large groups.

We saw this restaurant next to a car wash we were using in Waverly. We were tired after a long day on the road and we really like Tex Mex food. We were greeted and seated promptly and our drink orders were taken. The restaurant looked a bit seedy and needed some work on the walls and seating. Also, there was food pieces on the floor along with other debris. My wife ordered the Rojo Burrito, purported to be a burrito filled with Colorado Chile meat. It turned out to be rather bland, not up to her spicy expectations. I had the Burrito Verde, filled with shredded beef and covered in Verde Sauce. While I thought it fairly good it, also could have been more spicy. This was a one-time experience and I really can't recommend this establishment.

We are twice in one weekend... The same thing: Steak & Shrimp fajitas and Carna Asada. Good Mexican food and you could get filled up on the chips!

We have never had bad food but the service has gone downhill. I am against restaurants that will not bring your bill to the table and this place has stopped doing so. The person that checks you out just enters amounts on a computer and he isn't even the one that waited on you. I prefer an itemized bill so you can know what to tip before getting to where you pay. And how do we know if the bill is correct? This has just started happening in recent months so hoping it will change.
