A small mom and pop restaurant with the nicest staff (the owners) and local people you'd ever want to meet.
After the lady took my order, one of the locals asked if that was me on the motorcycle outside. I told him it was, and we struck up a conversation that lasted till my food got to my table.
The whole diner was so full of atmosphere I'll have to go back several more times to take it all in.
If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and drop in. You'll never regret it.

Food was delicious and the server was lovely and friendly. The restaurant is very quaint and well worth a visit. You made 6 Australians very happy with full bellies and a great start to the day. Cheers

First time eating here and we bought the catfish and chicken tenders family meal to go. Extremely disappointed. Everything tastes stale, the fish is chewy.

I eat here quite often. I’ve never had the food or service that I had this time. Extremely disappointing. I waited 40 minutes for a burger. The bun came out cold. The lettuce was wilted the patty extremely small Normally, this place is always five star. I’ve never had a problem. I look forward to coming home and eating out here

Great place. Really cool on the inside..lots of fun items being sold. Quiet and cozy. The waitress was awesome addressing a couple minor problems. Definitely recommend!

I am from New York City but a proud volunteer. My parents live in Iuka. So my easiest path is to fly into Nashville and drive down for a visit. I now make it routine to stop and eat here. Right there in this town, I find the “Everywhere you look UT” mural as a homecoming… it means so much to me.

For the restaurant….

I love the home cooking here and the dedication to hospitality. This is a quality experience and appreciate how important the simple dishes are made. I especially love the smiling faces when I pay at the counter. Thank you for your hospitality… it means the world.

Best food I've had in tenn. You have everything beat bye cracker barrel and waffle house on breakfast places. As for your lunch and dinners again you are beating all the so called top Jones in Nashville. I'm so happy when I moved back here to find this incredible treasure of a restaurant. Even Gordon Ramsey would give you a thumbs up.
I love your entire menu selections. As you might can tell your food as got me hooked so I do breakfast and dinner when I dine out. Your my only pick. That other place on the other side they just have a dressed up bldg and what they feel is a fancy name and high priced below average tastful food

Over the past few years, I've been to this place a dozen times between this location and the previous one in Collinwood. I have gotten sick about half of the times I've eaten here. The food doesn't taste bad, but the soda tastes like it is served through butter. If I had to guess, I bet they have never cleaned their lines or machine. I am not sure what it is, but I am done. I do not need to spend a day on the throne for an O.K. tasting Mushroom Swiss burger. They also put way too much lawrys season salt on their fries.

As for the staff, well, it depends on who's working. I've had good service and minimal to almost no service. I've seen their waitresses working hard and others playing games on their phone sitting behind the counter.

I guess the moral is when there isn't much competition in the area you settle to the level that gets you by.

It's a shame because some of their food isn't bad. Their BLT is particularly good, albeit a bit salty, baconwise. People like their catfish. I thought it was too silver skinny.

As for atmosphere, the restaurant is full of toys and signs and knick nacks for sale. I get it, the area is depressed and they need to make money where they can. Just wish it was on good food and beverages that didn't make you, well....ill.
