We want to love this place…. But just can’t. We moved to town a few months ago and have eaten here several times. Food has been inconsistent (Alfredo separating, pizza overdone or barely cooked, hard or burnt garlic knots). But when it’s good… it’s great! Service when dining in however is just not. Slow, not helpful, and just made to feel like an outsider, every time. Please fix consistency and service. We want to love you!

This place is awesome the staff is great and friendly and the food is great especially the pizza best pizza in TN. I have had other entrees that are also delicious but my favorite is the pizza and it's a nice relaxing atmosphere

We didn't even place an order it was so cold in there tonight we had to leave. When asked to turn the heat up they said "we'll try"... Honestly, it had to be high 50's or very low 60's in there.

We eat here at least once every month for the past 3 years. The food usually quite good and I like all the menu options. It is quite pricey but we're willing to pay since there is no other good Italian places in white house. Tonight was awful. Hands down, worst service. We were ignored the whole time we were there. I had to ask multiple times for my drink and it took 70 minutes to get a pizza and a bowl of pasta. Now they suddenly got a dinner rush After we came in but that should be expected on the weekend. We watched 4 to go orders leave and no food was brought out to any of the dining in patrons. I eventually told her to just put our food in a to go because we had to leave as we have a toddler who needed to get in bed. We arrived at 455p and left at 620. When she brought the food there was no sorry or anything.. just annoyance. We ordered a classic veggie pizza and the bucatani. Both were terrible. The pizza was doughy, sweet, and covered in arugula and the pasta was dry noodles with hamburger meat, hardly any sauce. This experience will keep me from going back

We drove up from Gallatin to meet some friends to try this place. When we arrived around 5:15pm and asked for a table for 9, we were told they couldn't put the middle tables together because of fire code. She then told us we could only sit at 2 tables. Then another server told us that they require a reservation for parties of 6 or more. There were only 2 other tables occupied and the place was empty. I asked if we had any other options, and she said no. We left and found another place to eat. I can only imagine how poor the service would have been if we stayed. They clearly did not want us there.

This place is so overrated. Price is way too high to reflect value and especially quality. Better pasta at Fazolis and that’s sad. Pasta is not cooked al dente here - noodles are mushy - way too overcooked. Sauce is lacking in seasoning and flavor. Presentation tries to emulate fine dining yet fails to deliver. Menu is too condensed - also - trying to emulate a fine dining experience yet it fails all the way around. Caesar salad could have been recommendable but the dressing was barely drizzled on - so not only was it not accurately tossed in dressing to coat the romaine but lightly drizzled. Again - flavor was disappointing. Place was cold and inviting (figuratively and literally) - not a place I’d revisit on a cold winter day/night. Service was what you can expect in White House - it’s a younger crowd with lack of training in giving the all out customer experience. Service was meeting basic needs and not going above and beyond in any way. However, gentleman host at the door was superb. Very polite and well mannered. A great first point of contact for an establishment. The rest of the time staff seemed (as usual there) more interested in gathering behind bar to talk to one another than to be attentive to tables and to work. Overall, food taste was very bland and as usual there, just mushy pasta and tasteless entrees sold at a high price. Tried to swing in to avoid going into town for Italian but next time will make do with Tavern 76 or All Seasons - not known for Italian but pasta there is at least cooked correctly and bursting with flavor.

Won’t be back. Won’t recommend to anyone else coming in town or who lives here.

Owners need to take more interest in their own establishment and recipes and not be so hands off. It shows.

I wanted Italian and my cousin referred me to this place, nice little restaurant but the place was like 60 degrees inside. I ordered the chicken parm. and it was very good so I was pleased with food but I didn’t have anybody come by and ask how the food was or did I need a refill, after 20min of eating the other lady came by refilled my water and asked what was drinking I and she said I will be right back with your drink that did not happen so overall the food was good but bad service. I would like come back to try some other dishes but probably won’t cause the service was bad, I felt like they didn’t care if I was there or not but that’s the wrong thing to do they suppose to treat to you like a good customer. I even left a 20% tip but if there good I leave 30-35%.

Delicious lasagna dinner last night with a very fresh salad and a wonderful festive cocktail. The atmosphere was very pleasant and it was fun talking with the locals at the bar.

Food quality has gone down A LOT, prices try to reflect downtown restaurants but don’t deliver. Food portions are small. Wait staff is not attentive. We’ve tried food delivered from here also and it’s awful. All in all - never worth going back. Also menu is so selective there’s not much to it. It’s a snooty place trying to sell itself in a small town and miserably failing.

Ordered Alfredo with shrimp x2. Got home and realized the shrimp on both dishes were burnt to a crisp, and the pasta was not cooked all the way through. I’ve been here before, and it was amazing so I don’t know what happened.

They are only open for a few hours, food is overpriced and subpar Italian - they are trying to sell a bougie restaurant, in a small town and it doesn’t work. Can’t wait to see this place replaced with something good and open full time. Tried to order to go one night and they said that day they weren’t accepting to go orders. It’s just all the way around poorly run. If you do eat there they have literally 5 entrees to choose from, 5 basic pastas and pizza. Or you can get soup or salad. Again. It’s just not worth it. We have had so many issues and tried to talk to the owner. Every time the owner is condescending and reluctant to honor a refund when the food is wrong or subpar.
Please don’t bother with a snarky reply like you do for others. It will fall on deaf ears and just continue to make yourself look lofty and uninterested in public complaints and concerns.

We’ve been dining here every once in a while since we moved here two April’s ago. It’s my favorite restaurant in White House. Perfect for all different size groups. I love it most with just my parents because we can catch up in a really cool atmosphere with really amazing food.

Kid-friendliness: I’d say it’s pretty kid friendly. Parking is always accessible, they have decent high chairs, the staff are always very sweet to my kiddos. I try to have my kids eat what is available to them and they definitely have safe options for that. My son loves the pizza!
