We asked for smoked brisket. We got roast beef. Burnt. Owner wasn't very receptive to us mentioning our disappointment. Only complained about others who had completed. He commented how he served us "left over" beef. It was Not Brisket. Maybe if we had ordered pork it would have been better. The server was Very nice and on the ball.

Wish I could give this place 6th star for catering! Jerome personally took care of us for our son’s rehearsal wedding dinner. Food was amazing! Stole the show with pulled pork/chicken backed potato bar, buns for those that wanted sandwiches. Side salad with homemade dressings, green beans and pepperjack Mack and cheese was delicious. Finished it off with strawberry shortcake deserts! Not on was the food great the service and communication was even better. I’m stingy with recommendations however don’t look any further if you are looking for someone to cater your event in the area. Weather a part or a wedding. Top notch all the way around.

Wonderful food and service. The sweet tea was perfect. The pulled pork was amazing without an overwhelming smoke taste. Many BBQ restaurants use liquid smoke to enhance the meat. This was absolutely perfect.

We happened upon this incredible restaurant while driving through Whitwell and it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! We had the honor of the restaurants namesake taking care of us, and he suggested a smoked chicken taco- chef’s kiss! We also had the ribs, chicken tenders and fries. We sat on their patio and got two enjoy my 3 boys while there. Not often do you come across a small family owned roadside diner that is as delicious and welcoming as here!

Actually, the owner served us.. she was not welcoming…..thought us to be “passing through “…. We reside in one county over…..we venture out to new places for our very large Bible study group to cater and gather…. this will not be it.. ribs and chicken… chicken dry.
