Always a great meal at Skip's! It's a wonderful small town cafe with more than fair prices. Friendly servers, too! If you sit close to the kitchen you'll get a delicious breakfast and a show from the ladies singing in the kitchen. 😊

I wish I could give this place negative stars. The only good thing about it was the atmosphere. The food was okay, but not anything special. Then to make matters worse, when my husband told our server, Paisley, about my food allergies (allergic to onions), she seemed to be obvious to how food allergies work because even after it was made clear to leave the onions off of our food, it was still served to us with onions on it. Then when it was sent back, instead of taking the issue seriously, they just removed the onions and sent the same food back out to us. My husband told Paisley for the 4th time that having onions on our food would send me to the hospital. Then she proceeded to remove our food and have it remade. It took 15-20 minutes to get his food, a double cheeseburger and my hamburger steak was not cooked as requested and was nothing more than a hamburger party slapped on a plate, no gravy, sauce or anything else was offered with it. I also ordered a side salad with my meal and had to ask 3 different people about it before I finally received my salad. Also was charged for items that we ordered and never received. If you eat here be prepared for a train wreck and do yourself a favor and make sure you get any one but Paisley to wait on you. She is absolutely the worst excuse for a server that I have ever seen!
Note: I waited tables for several years and know how customers should be treated.

Friendly service and inviting atmosphere is how this place excels. The food is simple with little flavor and costs lower than fast food. Two people ate the lunch plate special with 2 sides each and paid a total of $22.

Delicious lunch today at Skip’s Grill. The BBQ chicken was melt-in-your-mouth yummy and the fried okra was phenomenal as always! Comfort food at its finest and the restaurant is comfortable and always friendly. We love Skip’s ❤️
The service is horrible. I ordered an omelette it wasn't to my liking so I told the waitress to take it back. The waitres took it off the bill. But they made me pay for it even though I didn't want it. Never been to a restaurant that would make you pay for something that you didn't eat and asked to take back. They even called the police. They acted so prejudice towards me.

If your going to serve crinkle fries please get them done. They were practically raw and dry. I’ve sent them back when I eat in but today was a pick up day. Uneatable! Burger was very good
