Winter hours are not true.
We went on a Saturday got there at 130 and they were closed the gift shop told us there had already had 30 people drive by to ask the same thing. Drove 2.5 hours to go have lunch there and nope 🤬🤬🤬
I'm sure it's great, but they are closed for the winter and Google hasn't caught up yet.
Still one of the coolest little diners around - we drive or ride all the way from Amarillo as often as we can for a Sunday breakfast here.

Great small town cafe where everyone knows each other. Hugs, warm greetings, and stories. Small menu but everything is homemade and delicious. Couldn't resist bringing a pie home. Name comes from being the midpoint of Route 66. Right off Highway 40 but not easily seen.

This is a must see spot, although you might want to call ahead just in case they are hosting a bus tour.
