“Staff is always friendly and attentive.. prices are great along with the food. Great environment and music especially when live bands are here. Not to mention clean restrooms which is rare in the bar scene. Love the improvements they have made as well. Highly recommend this bar. Has a great atmosphere. Isaac the manager was even nice enough to introduce himself and ask about our experience.“

“I tried the Dog Stadium and it did not disappoint! I had the Rollie Dog, which comes loaded with Hot Cheetos, cheese, and bacon it was absolutely delicious and super flavorful. I also got the dirt fries, and they taste like they’re fresh cut daily right at the restaurant. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something tasty and unique!“

“Definitely host your event here instead of paying $500 for The Gremlin which is Ghetto and has a scandal going on over a fight that took place with two toxic rocket lady's assaulting a guys girlfriend and also another scandal involving a groomer who hangs out at gremlin.
The gremlin is known as the fight club when it comes to metal another reason to go Walwus.
Moving back to Walwus
First the Music is zoned into 3 different acoustic zones between the Pool-Room main bar and event in the back
Second the Bartenders are respectful and make good drinks.
Third the owner and manager and respectful people and don't hold grudges over minor things and do believe in giving people chances..
The food is also amazing better pizza for $20 than paying $12 or so at Gremlins and getting it burned and crispy.“

“Ordered a ceviche plate to be delivered at 11:15am. My plate got there before my scheduled time, and the ceviche was DELICIOUS and it was a full plate!!! Super super delicious!!“

“Visiting RGV and came here for my cousin birthday hosted on fathers day. It's a small quaint dive bar, which I prefer anyday over a larger sports bar or nightclub anyday. Even though its a small place, they easily accomodated our large and expanding guest. Service was quick and drinks were cold.“

“For those who are not familiar with McAllen Downtown. Thirsty and Suerte (The Bar next to it) are connected which is why you get food there. Thirsty is also sponsored by Jägermeister which is why the jägerbombs are 2 bucks. The patio outside is nice and chill. In all it's a place to get a quick shot and continue bar hopping“

“professional and friendly. The ambiance was great, and my children really enjoyed it. However, the young man at the podium who handles ticket exchanges for prizes was extremely rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. He gave both my children and me an unnecessary attitude for no reason. I was deeply upset by the way he spoke to my children, who are under 10 years old. Because of this experience, I don’t think I will return to this establishment unless he is no longer working there.“

“I have to say, this place has some of the BEST seafood we’ve had in the Valley! I ordered the shrimp tacos, and hands down they are the best I’ve ever tried—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. We also had the fried tilapia, and it completely stood out compared to other places. Most restaurants serve tilapia that tastes oily or like burnt oil, but here it was fried perfectly—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious without any burnt taste.
I also ordered a tostada, and it was so good that I ate it before I even remembered to take a picture! That says everything about how tasty it was.
Overall, the food here is fresh, clean, and packed with flavor. If you’re in San Carlos or nearby, you HAVE to stop by Mariscos Los Dos Carnales—you won’t regret it!“
