Food was very good. Building is old. Ended up with shrimp tacos cause wait staff only spoke Spanish and I don't and menu was only in Spanish. Recognized taco on the menu, about the only thing I could make out. Didn't realize the other part of the name was shrimp. Never had shrimp taco before and likely would not have ordered it if I knew what it was. Happy outcome is I learned I like shrimp tacos a lot. Still for a place with so many winter Texans around they may want an English speaker or at least a menu in English that could be pointed at. Over all I will probably not return even though the food was good the communication issue was too much trouble.

I thought the restaurant would be good because of the photos that the other customers share and their good comments about the food, but anyway in my opinion I do not recommend the restaurant, it has a terrible appearance, the tables are full of ants, the chairs and everything is very neglected.

10/10 for the food portion of this review . It was truly amazing and delicious , if you’re looking for an authentic , and traditional Mexican meal . My husband said “ the cook truly got down !” lol . On the other hand , it made up for the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A SMALL LADY WITH CROOKED GLASSES UP IN THE FRONT TAKING THE ORDERS. First of all , as soon as I walked in , I said “hello” and she did not acknowledge me at all , even though the place was empty (literally). Then , my husband came behind me a min later and he said “ buenas” , in which she replied back to . Okay , whatever did not mind it , but it was already an awkward sign of some weird tension. My husband ordered , everything fine . Thennn , I ordered the quesadillas and asked how they come , and she gave me a weird face and asked “quesadillas?, we don’t have any here.” so I then ordered the enchiladas , in which she replied with the EXACT same response “ enchiladas , we don’t have any” okay , it was wtv I did not mind at all , I just asked for the menu and started looking . As I was looking at the menu , my husband said “ I’m sorry about that , we saw it on your guys online website , that’s why” (because she looked bothered about me asking for the quesadillas and enchiladas) , so then she asks “are u sure it was the right place you guys were looking at?” (Losing her patience) Okay wtv then that passed and then I ordered the flautas ( as I saw on the menu) and she laughed and said “ we don’t have those either” at this point I felt a vibe that she was just trolling with me tbh ? I looked at my husband and he said “ okay then what do you guys have then?” She then named a whole lists of dishes , and in that list she LITERALLY MENTIONED “enchiladas mexicanas y enchiladas americanas” I stopped her real quick and I said “ okay the enchiladas then !! “ at this point I just decided to play along , to prevent any scenes lol . But point is MS. CROOKED GLASSES WAS TROLLING , RUDE , AND VERY IMPATIENT. LOL Mr . Cook , though ????

I stopped by quick to check it out and step right out. That place was smelling really bad. I think their ventilation is poor and it was really humid inside maybe the air-conditioning system was down at the time.
Great food and prices were good. If you are looking for the Birria tacos that used to be on the Landmark on Tower this is their restaurant and the food is good. Highly recommend them.
