I used to eat lunch here every day. I would order the kids pizza and a beer. The pricing made this possible as I had recently moved back to town. I was in a bad car accident in November of 2022 and when I got back it had gone under. Just thought I'd let the owners know why I had disappeared.

We went for my DILs birthday and had the best cheeseburgers & fries. Great child’s menu and my granddaughter loved her cheese quesadilla & fries and lemonade. Very nice server. Thank you and we’ll be back!

Wish i had taken a photo with the food on my plate (sorry about that) but I was extremely disappointed in the shrimp and grits. It looked nothing like the photos I saw in reviews previously (served in a cast-iron skillet, lookin’ cheesy) and it was nasty. This was not shrimp and grits. “Grits” seemed more like couscous, and it was way too spicy to eat (and I’m fine with spice). The salsa was good! Didn’t care for the queso (velveeta like). The cocktails were WAY too strong and not good at all. I think i got the Bees Knees one (lavender) and it was just straight gin. Didn’t care for the one with jalapeño either. I’ve been here before and had a burger which I thought was pretty good, but this shrimp and grits has got to go with a revamp on cocktails.

Lovely place with nice ambiance and very nice staff. The food is mostly good and reasonably priced. I went in this past week and I have to say, the fryer oil needs to be changed. The chips that came with my meal tasted a bit like old oil. Other than that anomaly, I have had a good experience each time I have eaten there. It is one of my favorite places to go in town.

Unfortunately very disappointed in the lack of service we received. We waited over an hour for our food. After an hour we had asked how much longer it would be as our four young children were hungry and getting antsy. We were understanding of whatever was happening in the kitchen. However along with several other people we to had to walk out and resort to something else. After reading some of the other reviews I can see that this has been an ongoing issue. I do hope they can get it together real soon. Aledo is small and word gets around quick, that could be bad for business.

So, I wanted to love this place. It's a great location, building has a great look from the outside... and there is really nothing else around for competition. But disappointed I am. I ordered St Patty Day to go--- It was alright, not great but hey, I give credit when it's TO-GO. So went back with my mom & sister for Brunch. Lady's Brunch! BAD CALL. The mimosa flights? The server couldn't even remember what the flavors were and was listing flavors not even on the menu, when it was sat on the table, she looked and saw something floating in one of them- Gross! Flavor was disappointing, couldn't barely tell any champagne was in them. We asked for butter or jelly for an english muffin, it never came and when asked, the server in her sarcastic tone just shrugged her shoulders and said, oh yeah I forgot. She had sarcastic comments for our orders as well. I'm good with some humor but not when you don't deliver service and then the food is low average at best. The interior feels confused, like they can't really figure out what exact style they are going for. I can tell you if you're wanting the higher end, nice modern farmhouse vibe... I don't want to look over to see the soda dispenser, kitchen, plates and all that.
