We dinned in on Sunday 11/10. We were looking for authentic mom and pop kinda mexican food and boy did this place come through. First off, the staff were all kind, attentive and social. They even offered a family who came in for a pickup order some water while they grabbed their order. The owner took time to chat with us, make recommendations as did our waiter, and the owner Miguel even provided us with a sample he felt we had to try! The food was so prompt, not to mention fresh....
I had family in town on a Saturday night and wanted somewhere there wouldn't be a wait and that was unique. What a find! There was a little wait because we were a bigger group, but they served us margaritas on the patio. Everyone raved about the food. The stuffed chicken breast was amazing. Four days later, we ordered it on door dash. Definitely a new favorite.
Nice ambiance with really good service. The tilapia filet lunch entree was relatively healthful compared to other, more ubiquitous Tex-Mex options.
Not really the fault of the restaurant that insects fly in when doors are opened, but the fly in the ointment was literally a fly (or two or three). They kept flying around our table and landed multiple times on the salsa, tortilla chip, and our drinking glass.
