If you’re in Texas (or planning to visit) and want a premium frozen custard treat, Andy’s is a solid choice. Their product quality is high, the menu is expansive, and many customers have had very positive experiences. If you pick a popular item like one of their “concretes” or sundaes, you’re likely to be satisfied. Just check that the specific location is maintained well (since one reviewer noted a smell issue) and go during a less busy time if you prefer quicker service.
Love this location. Large covered front porch shields from rain or shine when in line. Plenty of parking. Exceptional staff, friendly and polite. Watch out for idiots who use the one-way lane to u-turn and cut into the drive-thru line, very dangerous. But hey, this is Texas, there is no shortage of such selfish drivers.
They made me the most beautifully delectable snow monster concrete I could have ever asked for. For a moment I felt like everything was okay again.
