The catfish was good, I will give them that. However, for a BBQ joint.... They really need to work on their BBQ... The brisket was like beef jerky, didn't have much flavor and was missing a smoked flavor.

Maybe I came on a bad day ! Brisket was tough, warm sides were cold, cold sides were warm. People were SUPER NICE ! . Had heard great things.... but not a great experience personally. So disappointing !

I personally do not to insult, but small restaurants with big taste and plenty of food will always get my attention and appetite. We ordered the sampler plate, and it was a Lot! 4 meats and two sides, price was very reasonable compared to most competition. I believe it's family owned and operated, but whatever, the food is good! I'm gonna be fat if i keep eating here, and this was my first time. Staff is friendly, and Big Ray comes out to check on the satisfaction of his guest. Big points in my book! I dropped a pin for Big Ray's for when I returned to Texas. I'm getting full now and need a to go plate.
My ribs was so delicious ? today was our first time eating dinner from Rays. We got the family pack ribs and three sides. Mac n cheese, baked beans, potatoe salad.... So good. I literally woke up from a nap. You know how food be so good you go straight to sleep afterwards. Lol. That was me today. We have leftovers, so I'll be finishing it off later.

Good food and friendly staff but check your receipts before you finalize. Wife and I ordered a combo 2 meat platter (pork and brisket), charged for 3 (see receipt) but they missed the awesome fried okra and onion rings so it all works out in the end. Very cordial staff! I would recommend stopping if you're in the area. Baked beans were sold out... :( so tried the cornbread salad - tastes like 7 layer dip :) Note wife's reaction when I said this awesome food can make me a Cowboys fan.

This place was recommended by friends so we decided to give it a try. The food was bad..my husband ordered the brisket and it was extremely dry (we brought home to the dog). I ordered the fish and it was decent but took forever to get. My husband was done with his meal before I got mine. And the atmosphere is nasty. Dirty and dusty starting with the front door. Go if you want but don’t say you weren’t warned.
