Always reading about this place, and decided to try it out. Got the 3 meat plate with brisket, sausage, and pork rib. Sausage was the star, brisket was solid, and pork rib was a little chewy and fatty, but it was an end cap piece, so it was pretty grisly. Loaded baked potatoes looked awesome. Baked beans were solid, and cole slaw looked solid, but had a little took much mayo for me. Good portions at a fair price. I will definitely go back and try again.

My first time there and the turkey legs were AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and you could feel the family units joy of being able to work together ❤️ A definite must go to if you've never been.

This place is a hidden gem. We had the Thursday special a loaded baked potato with two meats. The potato was so good best I have ever had. The meat was tender and flavorful. We were welcomed in with a greeting and smile. Young lady let us know their special and said she would help with any questions. While she fixed our potatoes the young man spoke with us. It looks like an old school diner. We didn’t eat sides but they looked good. Will for sure be a returning customer. Also so good he got a loaded potato to go to have for lunch on Friday.

So, I ate here and the food is amazing .Clarence made ribs so tender my daughter tore them up.
This place was SO good! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was above and beyond great! I ordered the Catfish, which I order often when I go out, but this was easily some of the best catfish I have ever had! Their beans and scalloped potatoes were amazing, as well. We will be back anytime we are in the area.

I went with high hopes, mainly because I had read a review about their Cornbread Salad and it “was the best they ever had”! I arrived right at noon, a few people in line and a few sitting in the dining area. I ordered the Friday Specia,l 2 meat sandwich with a side and a drink with a great price of $12.99 I had sliced brisket and sausage, the brisket was dry and lacked flavor, the sausage was ok, the cornbread salad lacked cornbread! I basically got a cup of ranch dressing with a few beans and bell peppers with a sprinkle of cornbread, super disappointed! Potato salad was average.

Went here for the time today based a friends recommendation, but I was disappointed & and will NEVER return. Ordered the Big Tex sandwich & ribs. The ribs were so hard and tough that I could not eat them. Looks as if they gave me the end piece. In addition, the workers were very rude. And I got charged a .59 processing fee?! No thanks Big Ray's.

I ate here for the first time in our 14 years in Allen. I gotta say, I've been missing out on some good 'Q. I had the Tuesday lunch special ($10.99) , pulled pork samwich, a side (scalloped taters) and a soft drink. Easily some of the best pulled pork ever. Tender, juicy, without any fat or nasties.
