Café del Río has very colorful decorations and it is a Tex Mex . I had an guacamole salad and it was very good. Lettuce was shredded and very fresh, served with four scoops of guacamole and diced tomatoes on the side served on a chile shape plate. They also served chips, salsa and a spicy ranch salsa and flower tortillas while you wait for your food. Good service.
Legendary guac. Absolutely legendary guac. I cannot stress this enough.
Really like this place. Food is really good and so are the drinks, i am just a clean freak, so i am taking away one star for that! Please keep tables and bathrooms cleaner! Keep up the awesome food! Thanks!
Good TexMex. The best tamalas I've had in years. And the servings are huge. Great variety of Rita's too.
Our new favorite Mexican food restaurant. Love the jalapeno ranch and the bacon-wrapped shrimp!
It was a bit under seasoned very large lunch portions. I came in on New year's day and they gave us great service.
4 of us went. Drinks where great. However the food came out cold or barely warm. My brisket tacos where cool ro touch but not much flavoring. The rice is not really text max and lacks flavor as well. The only other plus was the red salsa. Has a nice kick!
Fajitas are really good, fresh made flour tortillas. Have a unique spicy jalepeno ranch served with chips. Good go to for everyday tex mex.
I want to love this place because it’s close and seemingly a great atmosphere.... but I’ve been several times and it’s always the same experience. Large portions of terrible food. I’m not sure what the queso blanco tastes like, but cheese is not a top 20 answer. I’ve seen several roaches over the past few months, on the inside. And the manager (probably manager; white haired guy dressed better than the rest) yells at employees on the floor, or within 1 foot of the kitchen so the entire bar area gets to hear the employee get chewed out. Unprofessional and tasteless food. Again, wish it was better, cleaner, and more welcoming because the setting is perfect for a successful restaurant. They missed the mark though.
Excellent service in excellent food. We were celebrating grandson's birthday. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Great Tex Mex, awesome happy hour from 4-6 with strong margaritas for $4. Free nacho bar was perfect for munching.
My family and I ordered chicken fajitas and as we prepared to enjoy the meal we were joined by two roaches crawling on the wall next to our table. As one might imagine, we could not exit the restaurant fast enough!!
Watch out for the bald waiter . He kept putting his hands all over the female guest in our party. We had 18 people. He smelt like alcohol. Top it all off he went outside to smoke and left door open and it blew in while we were eating . Food was cold . First and last time here for me. The other waiters were great . Food not so much
Y'all don't do it. We went and our server forgot what he was grabbing three times and went back and forth even though we were right by the kitchen. They're very understaffed and all are young people working there and while sometimes this is acceptable this place was not like that. It was a bunch of teens who seemed to not want to work. I'm sure the kitchen staff and bussers want to as they were courteous and actively looking for work to do regardless of the lack of business inside
My girl didnt feel the food was seasoned well but her plate was free after we told mgr
