Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

You can get a consistently good meal here. The heater was blaring in the bar area where the hostess seated us. No server came after 5 to 10 minutes, so we asked to move to the dining room. A waitress came by immediately, and the temperature was better regulated. I love the booth size and privacy at Cheddars. It's easy to have a great conversation! The Spinach Artichoke Dip was delicious, and the chips were warm and crispy. The Monte Cristo could've been cooked longer, it was doughy. The side Cesar was fresh and had delicious dressing.

Food was OK. Found a long black hair in my salad. As soon as the waiter put my plate in front of me.. Water taste like dirt. Waiter was nice. And the atmosphere was good. Don't think I'll go back.

Never got any silverware after asking twice.
Asked to speak to a manager and lo and behold guess what. They never even came. I really and truly don’t understand how a business like this can be in business considering how horrible the service is here. If I lived in Allen I would ask for this establishment to be closed or new ownership asap! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone even if it was their last meal ever!

Wanted to give a warning to all parents with babies who need high chairs at this restaurant!!! First high hair we got I was wiping the side arm rests off and the first wipe I got a splinter in my finger that went through my wipe!! I looked down and found pieces of wood stuck to my wipe. We got a second high chair and the SAME THING HAPPENED!!! We had to tell a manager the high chairs are unsafe for babies and she assured us they would get a us a new one. The THIRD highchair was fine and told us the two would be put in the back and they would get new ones for the future. Well, not even 10 minutes go by and they put the same high chairs back out for people to use!! PLEASE be careful putting your children in their high chairs, I would not want a little one to get hurt like I did!!

Pretty meh. Ordered chicken Cesar salad and got the thinnest piece of chicken possible. Maybe they have a shortage and they had to ration it out?

I attempted to place an order online, but the system wasn’t working. I called instead while driving to the restaurant, but after being placed on hold, no one ever picked back up. When I arrived, I was still on hold and walked inside—only to see an employee standing at the pick-up area on her cellphone, right next to the restaurant phone. I’m not sure if she was the one who put me on hold, but overall, the experience was disappointing.

Do not order through the app. I ordered through the app for a pickup order and was charged an extra 10$ for a tip days after I placed the order the thing is that I already left a tip. It just doesn’t make sense on how they added a tip even though its days after the fact.

Text that I was there and waited over 10 mins with no one coming out w my order.
Called and canceled, another car was there too for over 10 mins and nobody came out w their order either.
Honestly, my order was 2 dz rolls. No excuses!

Glad they had the onion rings back. I got the artichoke spinach dip and I’m not sure what yellow cheese was in it, but it was no Bueno.
The drink the painkiller was really yummy !!
