Great atmosphere the service was excellent. The food was delicious. Mariachi Colima put on a show and everyone was enjoying it. I highly recommend this little Mexican restaurant. Bring the family and have some great food and a good time.

Review of Chepa’s Mexican Grill
Walking into Chepa’s Mexican Grill, I was ready for a good meal and some quiet time with my book. The restaurant had the typical vibrant decor you’d expect from a Mexican spot—warm colors, rustic accents, and a lively atmosphere. The menu seemed extensive, offering everything from seafood dishes to enchiladas, making it a solid choice for a variety of cravings.
However, my experience with the hostesses was less than welcoming. They initially tried to seat me at a small two-seater by the bar, which felt cramped and not ideal for enjoying a meal and reading. When I asked for a different table, they seemed hesitant but eventually cleaned one off. It wasn’t the best first impression, but I was willing to move past it.
Thankfully, my server more than made up for it. They were incredibly attentive, checking in at just the right moments and ensuring I had everything I needed. Their friendly attitude and great service really elevated the experience.
For appetizers, I went with the stuffed jalapeños. These things were massive—stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in crispy bacon, and full of flavor. But one of them? It had me questioning my life choices. The heat was intense, almost tear-inducing, but if you like spicy food, you’ll appreciate the kick.
The highlight of the meal was the tortilla soup. It was everything you want in a comforting bowl—rich, flavorful broth, big chunks of tender chicken, melted cheese, and crispy tortilla strips. It had that perfect balance of heartiness and warmth that makes tortilla soup such a classic.
Despite the rocky start, the food itself was solid, and the menu has enough variety to make me want to come back and explore more. Hopefully, next time, the seating situation will be smoother, but with great service and delicious food, I’d say it was worth the visit.

This was our first time here. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. I normally get some kind of burrito when I go eat Mexican food, this place did not have any on the menu. The beans were not the best, salty and had an odd taste. The salsa was very good! Just the right amount of spice. I ordered the chicken flaunts, they were good. Chicken was juicy and flavorful.
Kid-friendliness: They have decent amount of kids meal choice.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly unless they move tables around. Wheelchair will not be able to get to the bathroom.

We visited this place because it was one of the few open during Superbowl Sunday. The food was good. The atmosphere was nice. The place was clean. However, the customer service wasn't the best. We walked in and a guy came over, handed us two menus and utensil packets, and said "Sit anywhere you like" and walked away. Our food was delivered hot and delicious but we were not asked if we needed anything else and when they came back to check on us it was more of a "You don't need anything right?" and then they walked away. We had to call after him what we needed. It was a good place to go if you want good food and don't care about service. The hot sauce was hot. The drink I ordered was delicious. The food was aplenty. Just don't expect the best customer service.
Vegetarian options: They had a couple of vegetarian options but no meat alternatives and no vegan options.
Dietary restrictions: Nothing was gluten free
