I had the Chicago Polish. The sausage was under cooked and the fries were soggy. This place wouldn't rank against authentic Chicago restaurants. I'll pass on a second trip

I came to this place because I had seen an advertisement on Tic Toc. I just so happened to be in the area & got a chance to try it. The service was excellent. They were very patient with me & explained the menu & options. Ordered the Lion's Choice & 2 Italian Beef Combo. The sandwiches are full of meat & are seasoned. But, I'm telling you that you should add the peppers, either sweet or hot. Trust me, it really brings out all the flavors of the sandwich. Just grabbing the pizza box you'll find that the pizza is really heavy & that's because it's full of ingredients. The sauce has a little sweetness to it, but it's not over powering. No matter what you choose you'll find out that you've got more than your money's worth. My family is very happy with our purchase. Don't miss out in this gem.

Very disappointed. Long piece of grey hair was in the pizza and unfortunately my daughter bit into the pizza and hair was in her mouth. First time this happened, we always order from here but unfortunately tonight will be the last. Please tie your hair back and consider hairnets because that’s gross

fantastic Chicago style pizza. I average 1 personal size thin crust per week. pepperoni and Italian sausage. cheese on top, slightly caramelized. mmmm. . the personal size deep dish has 4 slices - unless your starving, 2 will pretty well fill you up - you can eat twice. the deep dish reheats pretty well too. about 10 bucks either way. . and if you've never had an Italian beef sandwich, get one here. these are so good they need absolutely no garnish. even adding cheese is a travesty. just tender meat shaved so thin you could almost read through it, soft tender bun - and the Italian au jus. poetry for meat lovers. . gem, the owner is a sweetheart, and she looks out for her regulars! if you try this place, you'll be back so often she'll remember you in no time! . as a chicago native, I highly recommend this food !!!!!

Deep dish stuffed pizza, basically a pizza inside a pizza is some good stuff. The 16" XL I ordered weighs probably 10-15 lbs.
This place is kinda on the outskirts of DFW, but if you're looking for Chicago style this place is solid.
Each pizza takes 30+ min, so order ahead or bring a book.

I lived near Chicago growing up. I know the dough. I know the cheese… and I even know the sauce.
I did not taste nor did I see any cornmeal. When it has cornmeal, the crust on the bottom has like a 1/8 golden crust, and the rest is smooth. That’s one of the ways I know there isn’t any cornmeal.
The sausage was good, but let’s not called your onions sautéed. You covered the pizza in so much cheese to give it the feel of a deep dish. You didn’t fool me. The sauce was a mystery. I’m not even sure what to say about it.

Best pizza ever! We've been going there for about ten years now, never left disappointed. The staff is the friendliest people!
Love this place. The pepperoni and beef are ike a carpet under the cheese. A large weighs 6lbs. ! They're bigger pizza weighs 12 lbs. ! My favorite way to eat the deep dish is to toast slices after an overnight in the fridge. Crisps up the bottom. Nobody else is doing Chicago style around here this good. Be careful with the brakes going home, lol.

Really disappointed in the pizza I got today 9/15/24. The sauce tasted weird, the crust was wrong & the Italian sausage was unbelievably bland. Not a fennel seed in site. I have followed this pizza place for several years and always had great pizza. Today was such a disappointment- I will probably never go back. I drove 30 minutes each way for carry out only. Put it in my cooler bag to keep it hot. Was so excited to get home and bite into what I had anticipated as a great experience. Just so disappointed. Sauce was awful and that alone completely ruined the pizza, Italian sausage was slightly better than Pizza Hut or Domino’s but definitely not real Italian sausage.
