Slightly strange place with the way the tables and chairs are setup but the food speaks for everything. It’s delicious and you should absolutely try it.

Despite the eternally long wait for our plates, the curries and Biryani tasted great. The place was busy, and they ran out of several dishes—which was only disclosed after we had placed the order and sat for twenty minutes waiting for our plates. After agreeing on different curries, we sat and waited as one plate arrived every 18 minutes. So, my party ate each other’s food while waiting for the other plates to arrive. The food is great, and the ladies who take the order and serve are polite and charming. I will return, and I will order ahead of time to make sure the dishes are served at the same time.

Have been to this place for breakfast buffet. Price is reasonable ($9.99+ Tax).

Available varieties - Idly, Medu vada, Bonda, Dosas, puri bhaaji, small tea(only one serving) ,Pongal, Upma.

Out of all above varieties, Idly, Pongal & Upma tasted delicious.

They don’t have a spread laid out for you to pick , the server prepares a plate with all the items and calls out your order for you to collect. This takes time, even for ready made items(Pongal, Upma, Vada, Bonda) we had to wait for 10 mins and had to tell them to atleast serve the items which are ready. Dosa and Puri has to be ordered and it takes time, also depends on the crowd. It took time and had to go and ask them a couple of times.

Overall the experience is good, but could have been better if they lay out the items for someone to take and refill as empty except for dosa and puris which gets prepared as per request.

The food here is absolutely delicious, especially the jalapeño chicken and mutton dum biryani! The ambiance is great too, with a nice touch of authentic Hyderabadi vibes and slang.

Absolutely loved this place! 🌟
Tried it for the first time today and went in for breakfast around 9 AM — had no idea they offered an unlimited breakfast buffet! What a pleasant surprise! They had a great spread with idly, dosa, pongal, Mysore bonda, and more. You can even choose different kinds of dosa and idly, which was awesome. Every item tasted fresh and authentic, and the service was super fast and friendly. Definitely coming back again soon — perfect spot for a delicious South Indian breakfast! 😋

They are shamelessly looting customers’ money and treating people like beggars waiting for food! The service is absolutely pathetic, and the management has zero respect for their customers. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, never step into this place.

The entire experience is nothing short of an insult — endless waiting and complete mismanagement. I honestly wonder how this restaurant even has a 4+ rating — it’s hard to believe those reviews are real! It’s shocking that a place with such poor service is still running.

A serious message to the owner: If you can’t run a restaurant with honesty, respect, and basic human decency, then shut it down. Stop playing with people’s trust, time, and hard-earned money. You’re not serving meals here — you’re serving disappointment, frustration, and humiliation

We visited this place for the breakfast buffet, but it didn’t feel like a proper buffet setup. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes just to get idlis served at our table. Everyone seemed to be waiting for their food as if it were a regular breakfast order. The food itself was okay, but the overall buffet arrangement was poorly organized.

Desi Chicas was so good and very high quality Indian dishes! The spice and flavors were very authentic. I had the jalapeño chicken appetizer and the Mutton Briyani for my entree. Definitely recommend, but just be aware that everything is made fresh so the wait times may vary depending on the dish.

Ordered thru uber eats. Took extremely long for a simple order. 2 hours. Made the driver wait for 30 mins.
Still missed an entire item and gave the wrong item. Looks like the rating is from a farm if they can’t get a simple order straight nor deliver on time.

Plus their phone does not work.

The butter chicken is so flavorful. There are so many items on the menu I would like to try but can’t leave it alone!

What’s the point of advertising a BOGO offer if it can’t be fulfilled properly? This was my third visit to this place.

During my first visit on a Friday, we dined in à la carte, and the food was excellent. With that positive experience in mind, we returned the following Wednesday after seeing a BOGO offer on biryanis. We decided to take advantage of it with a takeout order of chicken dum biryani. Although the wait time exceeded an hour, we patiently waited—only to discover upon reaching home that we’d been given the wrong order.

On our most recent (third) visit, again on a Wednesday, we called ahead to place a BOGO order for mutton and chicken biryani. We were informed that there would be an extra $3 charge for a chicken + mutton combination, or $6 for mutton + mutton which is a surprise. We agreed and placed a chicken + mutton combination and were told it would take about an hour. Upon pickup, we mentioned our previous issue to the front desk, but they seemed indifferent. When we got home, the mutton biryani turned out to be mostly bones, and the chicken biryani contained only two drumsticks.

Even after waiting an hour and paying extra, we were left disappointed once again.
If the restaurant cannot properly honor the BOGO offer, it would be better not to promote it at all.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ its okay Biryani Experience!

Arrey bhai, kya boloon… Desi Chichas ki chicken dum biryani is pure magic! From the first spoon itself, it felt like I was back in Hyderabad, sitting at a shaadi with that royal aroma filling the air. Rice was perfectly long-grain, chicken juicy and tender, and the masala balance – wah, zabardast!

Portion bhi generous tha, ek plate mein do bande easily satisfy hojaate. Service was friendly, atmosphere lively, aur taste toh full paisa vasool. Honestly, this biryani can easily compete with Michelin-star standards.

If you’re in town and craving authentic Hyderabadi biryani, don’t miss this gem. Desi Chichas truly delivers!
