Desi chichas has some potential, but a few things hold it back. The food is overpriced for what you get — the portions and quality don’t quite justify the cost. The environment is decent, nothing too impressive but gets the job done. The highlight of the visit was definitely the staff, who were friendly and attentive throughout.
One area that really needs attention is cleanliness — the place could use a more thorough and consistent cleaning routine. With some improvements on pricing and hygiene, this could easily become a go-to spot for desi food. For now, it’s a mixed bag.

If you’re craving authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani in the DFW area, Desi Chichas is a must-visit. The dum biryani here is absolutely outstanding — perfectly layered rice, tender meat, and rich aromatic spices that bring out the true Hyderabadi flavor.

You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The portions are generous and the balance of spices is just right. It’s easily one of the best dum biryanis I’ve had in the entire DFW area.

Great spot for anyone looking for real, flavorful Indian food. Definitely coming back again!

The worst masala dosa I ever had in my life - super dooper spicy sambar and masala dosa, that I almost fainted. It didn't taste good either. Never going back again, complete waste of money.

The food is really delicious and has a Hyderabadi spice flavor to it. Serving size is pretty good. We have tried about 10 different food items from various sections of the menu and have loved each one of them. A definite must visit and then repeat!!!

Bcoz after trying the Biryani for the 1st time, I have beem going to Desi chicha's more often now.
I love both Mutton and chicken dum biryani.
the weekend breakfast buffet it was so tasty and flavorful.
Crispy corn - 10/10
Egg puff - 10/10
Mango lassi is a must try.
Haleem is good.

Definetly a must place to try authentic hyderabadi flavor.
Also, the only indian restaurant I believe which offers free water and utensils to customers for dine-in.

I met SAI, he is very warm and welcoming.
Also, the staff is friendly.
