This is the first donut shop I remember ever going to and after 15 years we still stop by for an occasional donut. My favorite items are the blueberry cake donut, the jelly donut, and the jalapeño sausage kolache.

Hands down best donuts! I am a bit old school with my donuts (prefer the original twists/donuts) and their dough is so tasty. Every other donut shop in Allen sells these super crazy decorated donuts which look cool but lack the quality taste. Been in Allen for over 5 years and haven’t found a donut shop better than this place!

Nice lady at counter. She gave me some freebies which was very nice. The donuts were ok .I can't say they were the best as I have had Max's donuts and these pale by comparison. The reason for 4 stars is that the price was actually higher than Max's and I felt it was too expensive.

My latest stop( sixth I think) in a series of one-bite tests. In search of the perfect glazed donut. Il have to admit, im quickly getting bored with this research! But im going to be patient and push through the pain.This shop is basically a rubber stamp of all the other donut shops in the area. Usual suspects, in the usual display case. I think im looking for a different type of shop as much as the best donut. Although there are differences here and there they all feel similar in the offering.I chose a plain glazed from the case, paid and exited outside for "The Test". I was surprised at the first(here to fore refered to as the Bite) Bite. It jumped up to an 8 on the OBT-O-Meter. However,after a chew and swallow, I sensed a barely perceptible, unguent(oily) finish on the back of my tongue. Initially the first bite was really great and I was disappointed when I had to rate it a...7 on the 1-10 OBT scaleI think Ive got a three way tie at 7 on glazed donuts so,Im thinking when I break that 7 to a higher level that is the winner. It appears 7 is a good garden variety glazed donut served at most shops.I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a dozen for the :Sunday SchoolBoy ScoutsPTASlumber PartyLions clubMasonic HallYou get the picture now, go to donut Palace and take a bite!
