I ordered the Caesar salad. Everything was great except the lettuce? So many pieces of white stalk type of lettuce,very little green lettuce, really sad. The lettuce is kinda a big part of a salad and to have such a big miss is too bad. Love their pollo bowl 🙂

I literally waited 25 min to get my order which was 2 pollo bowls with zero modifications and a large drink. When I got my food they still didn’t give me the large cup which I paid for until I made it a big deal and showed my receipt. Very frustrating!

I'm surprised to see the low rating.
I've never dined in, just have ordered take-out, both through the official app and via UberEats and I've yet to have an issue and I'd been going to this location for a few years .
Maybe because I'm the type of person to just pick up my order and leave afterwards, and even then my order is always ready during the estimated time given. If I need more salsa, I ask for it and they give it to me.
The food has always been great- moist and flavorful.
The only disclaimer I'd give is , their chicken is smaller than other places but it's because they don't use antibiotics/hormones etc into making their chicken bigger in a short time frame like other chains .
And of course, like any foods restaurants if they get busy, just check your order before leaving . Only once did they fail to add the salsa I requested but that's not a big deal. Like yes they can do better but that's human error in the event that they are busy and overlooked.
I really love El Pollo Loco and honestly if Texas didn't have this chain, I would had missed it dearly. I would even argue that this location is also better than my memories back in CA because the chicken was at times dry but here it's always been moist.
There's other food chains that claim themselves to be healthy but other than Salad and Go , El Pollo Loco in my opinion is the next best thing. Love the chipotle burrito and the family packs.
ALSO THE CHURROS ARE SO GOOD. 10/10 No drama.
The drama is sometimes the racism that I've encountered living in texas by certain ethnicities but that's another topic for another day (but is that why it's rated low? because those ethnicities match the low ratings , so I have to wonder)

WOW, whats up with your staffs bad attitude because i asked for a fork with my meal to go? I should be upset that i had to drive back for utensils. I ordered a 4peice and 2 small items paid 20+dollars, why are you over charging for the drinks? $4.31 for a fountain drink? Thats crazy!!!
