I have been having this certain ham cut in their deli dept. for about 25 years but when I approached a deli employee named Nicholas he said he couldn't do it and just walked away! No explanation and no apology. Just walked away! I went to another employee and she did it for me. Nicholas had a poor attitude and no desire to help a long time customer. I reproached Nicholas and had to ask him why and he said because he had never been asked to cut that before. Amazing.

I was disappointed to see the only Deli Associate working the counter with a full (thick) beard serving customers without a beard guard. Food employees are required to wear some type of hair restraints or covering for body hair.I was curious if he just forgot to put one one so I asked but he shrugged his shoulders, told me his beard doesn't shed and that he would be cutting down his beard soon. He then proceeded to wipe the sweat from his face on his shirt and continued working. So as I was doing my self check out, I mentioned it to the MOD... She assured me she would pass it along and IF he's supposed to wear one...they get him to wear one.Needless to say, I'm looking forward to HEB opening it's new store in Allen on10/4/23

I have not stepped foot into this location at 1212 East Bethany in Allen since June 11, 2023. That was the day I purchased 2 separate $100 Home Depot Gift cards and although BOTH were sealed and in original tamper evident packaging BOTH had obliterated card numbers and pins and were unusable . I had the exact same issue at this same Kroger store in June, 2022 and only after 9 months of numerous emails, a dozen phone calls, certified letters with 30-day demand letters and threats to sue in small claims they finally credited me $100 from the June 2022 purchase in February 2023. Kroger corporate literally sent me down a rabbit hole and I estimate I spent 30 hours seeking resolution. Several times when calling I was abruptly disconnected, and once my call was transferred by Kroger corporate to what turned out to be a retirement community in Florida. VERY FUNNY. After the frustration from tampered card one, I tried to resolve with corporate when it happened with two more cards again a year later. In round two a year later I spoke to FIVE different corporate agents, yet they refused to credit my charge card, citing a copy of my receipt from June 11, 2023 as proof that I had indeed received "Merchandise" for my $200, that my claim was invalid so denied my Citibank credit card dispute. I decided to get the BBB in Cincinnati involved to get the refund of my TWO $100 gift cards ($200 total) purchased on June 11, 2023. The Allen Store Manager would only say gift card purchases are FINAL, NON-EXCHANGABLE, AND NON-REFUNDABLE. Despite the fact I had purchased them only 5 minutes earlier and showed them both to her along with the time stamped receipt. She gave me the phone number to call their corporate office and walked off. Perhaps Kroger corporate leaves their managers powerless to correct this, but I was shocked that she did not go straight to the Gift Card Kiosk to remove/inspect all remaining HD cards since the only two I bought just minutes earlier were both fraudulent. "The Policy" she quoted was NOT TRUE as once the BBB got involved my $200 refund came within 10 days. I have purchased perhaps 30 Home Depot gift cards at this Allen Store and 3 of the 30 or 10% had been tampered with. So despite Kroger being informed of the tampering locally and corporately in June 2022, Two more tampered cards were sold a year later in June 2023 to me by the same Kroger store. I know this is a lot of detail, but I want to emphasize the great lengths Kroger went to in order to deny me any compensation or corrective action until I sought help from the BBB. I have had no such gift card issues at any other Kroger locations such as the one on Alma or the one on Exchange Parkway in Allen. But the corporate response was so abysmal both times despite prompt photographic and receipt evidence (see the 3 tampered cards attached) that I choose to take my business elsewhere.

I continue to shake my head at this Krogers store and I am just going to have to throw in the towel and stop going here.Today, I was pleased to see it was a 25% off wine week, so I put 12 bottles in my cart along with some other needed items. I was in a huge hurry as it was 12:30 and hubby, who was waiting for me out in the car, had a 1 pm appointment.I lucked out and had a manned check out station available so I checked out there after putting in my rewards number. The cashier gave me the receipt and said, "you saved a dollar today!" I said, "What? I had 25% off my wine!" She looked dumbfounded and since I was next to customer service, I went there. The customer service lady wanted to go to the wine section to check information about it being 25% off week. I told her I didn't have time for that but that I would be back. So I left with my groceries and got husband to his 1 o'clock appointment.Drove back to the store and started to interact with the same Indian lady behind the counter. When I showed her the picture that I took showing the ad for the 25% off she asked me to bring all the wine back in so she could void it and rering it. I asked her if she could just add up the wine on the receipt and credit back the missing 25%. She told me she wasn't very good at math (I swear she said just that!) and that she didn't have a calculator back there. I mentioned that I thought it was interesting that she job where she was supposed to do financial services and money orders for the store. She picked up her phone as if to use that as a calculator but then ask me to do the calculating on my own phone.I was in a real hurry since I had to go pick my husband up at 2 o'clock and leave town so I didn't do the calculations correctly. I cheated myself of money that was owed to me.More than that, we now have a store that seems to be OK with cheating its customers the promised amount on their registers. Plus a customer service that doesn't know how to service its customers very well.HEB cannot open soon enoug

The luckiest place to buy Lottery tickets. Great employees, they have me smiling every time that I am in the store.

The team working here seems to care about the shoppers. They are friendly and go out of their way to help you find items. The store is always clean and the lines to check out move quickly.

This was my absolute last try with Kroger Pharmacies. Yet again I got a text message saying when the prescription would be ready and when I got there they say "Oh, we don't have that. We have to order it. It'll be here in 4 days."This has gotten to be the response about 1/3 of the time at Kroger Pharmacies. They said there was a possibility it might be available at two locations, both in different counties outside of Collin County, but they had no interest in finding out for sure.Shop pretty much anyplace else, you'll do better.

Waited in line at the Customer Service area for awhile before an employee came to the service desk. It was three of us in line waiting for help. When an associate arrived to our area, had my husband not spoke up and said hello, I'm not sure if she would've spoke at all.

My father went in yesterday to pick up his migraine medication and was told to return today. He returned today and it was still not ready. He was told to come back in two days. More importantly, he has difficulty hearing and paired with their barely-working speaker system, he had trouble hearing the pharmacist. Short, African-American, in her mid 30's. Learn to treat people with kindness. Your degree doesn't make you better than anyone. Hope the prescription is ready on day 4!

This krogers customer service is trash, the employees are more busy flirting with each other and act rude when you ask for help. My advice if you are looking for something use the app.

I love this Kroger. Friendly staff and great sushi! I've been coming here ever since I moved to Allen from Plano two years ago. I was very impressed with how eager everyone is to help here. The produce is always fresh and items are typically available all the time. The sushi here also impressed me, as it has the quality of a restaurant grade dish for great prices. Best Kroger in Allen! They continue to have an amazing selection and very helpful and friendly service even from new staff.

Yes, I'm leaving my updated review at 5 stars. What you ask? I didn't think you liked Kroger Guy? Well, my love-hate relationship goes back decades but bottom line, this store is managed expertly. As a matter of fact, the manager had just entered before me and got a cart and started her rounds. I see here often interacting with the employees, cleaning up, making notes, etc. It's an "old school approach" that works,we expect it but in today's climate not implementing it.This grocer is always well stocked with the exception of today. The seafood department was vacant and lights out. I wasn't that early maybe 10:30. I don't buy seafood here so wasn't concerned.Today they had a great sale going on making prices competitive on routine common items I usually get at Wal mart. I've noticed prices converging at almost all of the stores I frequent and welcome being able to stop at just one for now.If you live near, definitely check this one out.Go!
