Very delightful hole in the wall spot. Lily was very friendly and attentive.. Food was very good. We ordered pancakes, chilaquiles verdes, chicken fajitas. All were excellent. The coffee needs to be stronger bc it was a little watered down.

This place is a cute hole in the wall and I'm so excited to have found it randomly while driving through the picturesque downtown Allen. If you are visiting the heritage museum, any of the nearby Allen parks or skateparks, you should stop by this great tex-mex place! They have so many breakfast items like eggs rancheros, migas, omlettes, pancakes. They also have lunch food like tortas, tacos, fajitas, and so many more! They also have menudo and pozole on the weekends! They are never packed so you can stop by anytime and find a table and they are pretty cheap for how yummy the food is! Everything costs between $6-11. So whether you are wanting a tradition tex-mex breakfast, American brunch, or Mexican lunch, you should definitely stop by Lily's Cafe!

Visited the reopened Allen location yesterday and was very disappointed. The menu is bare bones, almost fast food or short order cook type. My eggs were VERY over cooked.

Love it. Small family owned restaurant with good service and good food.

The food is definitely not the quality you would expect from the name. There was nothing on the menu from Guatemala. Perhaps the place has changed hands and it is just a taco shop serving very plain Tex-Mex and one breakfast items. Do not get the MIGAS as it was totally inedible with 90% fried large triangles of tortilla and possibly a half of a very small egg sparsely mixed with it. The potatoes are parboiled and then heated and served from a grill. The re-fried beans were so soupy they could not be eaten with the plastic fork at all. The homemade tortillas were completely over cooked and very hard almost s chip! You can definitely get better food at any taco shop; even Taco Cabana serves up better food!

Nice find hidden in Allen. Great homemade corn tortillas. Horchata, breakfast potatoes, beans & tacos were very good. Salsa verde could use some more heat- it made the chilaquiles disappointing . I'll be back to try other items

We loved eating Sunday morning breakfast at Lily's! Recently, they have changed days and hours to Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. Disappointed that they are now closed on weekends.

Great spot to meet a friend or spouse for lunch. Good prices with even better food. Love supporting local, family run business, and they make it easy to do so.

From the great coffee and balanced unsweet tea to start, we plowed into the Chilaquiles and veggie omelet. My daughter order the black beans and avocado you see on it...and it was a game changer!! Everything is so fresh and cooked with love.Super clean and inviting. I hate to tell you because there's not a wait...yet!! Enjoy.

Small stand alone restaurant with ample parking. Staff is helpful and pleasant. All staff were wearing masks. Food is a mix of Guatemalan and American. We enjoyed both our dishes. Definitely recommend

Really good breakfast spot. Ordered online and picking up was easy. Enjoyed everything I had. I was shocked at how good the biscuits and gravy were.

Best breakfast place in the area by far. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We ordered the Guatemalan omelette and the huevos rancheros that came with a side of black beans and crema. Amazing! We practically licked the plates clean. Such a nice and cozy atmosphere. Happy to say we have found our new breakfast spot. Will continue to support this business in the future, check it out!

Today was our second visit to Lily's and, yet again, no disappointments here!! From the great coffee and balanced unsweet tea to start, we plowed into the Chilaquiles and veggie omelet. My daughter order the black beans and avocado you see on it...and it was a game changer!! Everything is so fresh and cooked with love. Lily is working the small place with less than 10 tables. Super clean and inviting. I hate to tell you because there's not a wait...yet!! Enjoy.
