Drinks weren't mixed well & slow to arrive. Food was way under seasoned... like no salt. Our food was pretty much cold when it arrived on the table. No steam coming from the fajita plate kind of cold- cheese melted into a goop onto the tacos. Was not good.We waited over 30 min for our table. Expected better for that kind of wait.Kid-friendliness: Gave free ice cream to my kids.

While the food and service is good here, it's hard to enjoy because the music is SO LOUD. We were yelling at the person next to us to have a conversation. Many times having to repeat ourselves because it was so heard to hear each other. I couldn't even answer a phone call from my young driving kiddo, even with my phone volume all the way up. Even they had to yell into the phone for me to hear them, and repeat themself. Thank goodness it wasn't an emergency.The space is nice because it's pretty open and has a lot of seating. It's a difference from the original ones in Houston, TX. When you can't enjoy company with the good food, it gets frustrating and exhausting to have a conversation.This is enough for us to consider another place with food, just as good, but better atmosphere as far as our ability to enjoy each other's company.

We visited with some family that lives out of town.. they wanted chips and salsa so I immediately suggested Lupe Tortilla since we’ve eaten in the past and service/ food was great. When ordering our food I mentioned to our server (i forgot his name) that we were there celebrating my son’s 5th birthday, he replied okay. Food was good, other than my father finding a hair in his food. Server asks all the kids what kind of ice cream they wanted, & gave it to them okay cool— kids meals come with ice cream right? I told our server that we were ready to sing happy birthday to my son so we can get going.. he says “we’re too busy inside right now we don’t sing happy birthday” I said “so y’all can’t give him a cake or something?” He said “I gave them ice cream” I told him “but kids meals come with ice cream .. “ he then offered flan so I told him yes so my son could have a birthday treat. By the time he brought it out my family had already left to go back home.. my friend and I sang happy birthday to him by ourselves ..I’m writing this review because the customer service was not it… any other restaurant would’ve stopped and sang.. we all left unhappy & will not return .. as a single mom I just wanted a nice dinner for my son.
Exceptionally good beef fajitas, paper-thin fresh tortillas, unique and delicious salsas. Must visit for TexMex lovers.

My brother and I had a quick lunch here to catch up, and I was supremely impressed. There is an outdoor waiting area, although there was no wait at lunchtime. Our host was very friendly, asking if we had been to the restaurant before (which I hadn't). Apparently, this info was passed on to the server as she walked us through the menu, specialty drink options, and unique menu items.The atmosphere was what I would call fun, friendly Tex Mex. There is a full service bar, indoor and patio eating spaces, and areas for larger groups. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient but didn't rush us through our meal.The fajaitas were out of this world, and the shrimp/pablano enchiladas were incredible. The food had the perfect mix of spicy and tasty without being overly hot or overbearing on the palate. Parking was plentiful, and overall, my experience was incredible. If I didn't live 1.5 hrs away, this restaurant would become part of my wife and Is date spots.Parking: Plentiful parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Many handicap spots available.
I would like to share my first time experience - I ordered to go ; at first I didn’t know what I wanted - I was stuck in a chimichanga but the guy on the phone was so nice and was explaining the menu items I ended up going with the chipotle ribs and man .. they did not disappoint , fall off the bone , super flavorful ; I highly recommend those with a lil extra sauce on the side : when I came in to get my food the the staff was super friendly and attentive .

Lupe Tortilla is a place I can consistently rely on for delicious Tex-Mex. After multiple visits, I can confidently say their food hits the spot every time.The chips and salsa are a great starter, but for me, the real magic lies in the freshness. You can truly taste the difference in their house-made tortillas, and beef fajitas.If you crave solid Tex-Mex comfort food, this friendly fiesta is definitely worth a visit!
