I moved to the McKinney area 5 years ago,I couldn’t find a good restaurant to relax and have a great meal,I tried several places but I wasn’t impressed,I stopped at this hidden jewel on Stacy and Watters in Allen.Mesa’s Tex-Mex ,all the staff is friendly,attentive and awesome,I visit the place 2 to 3 times a week,I recently moved to the Fairview area and my visits are 4 to 5 times a week.Today while I’m eating my lunch I was informed that Mesa’s it’s closing its doors for good.As a customer I love Mesa’s ,the food, the drinks and the staff.Very sad to see Mesa’s will no longer be there.

Went today 03/21 for late lunch at 3pm. There was just me and my guest. And the whole Place was empty. Food was good and the total was around 35 bucksI did add a tip and made it 40 even. Here comes the surprise the waiter opened the receipt and in front of me and my guest shouted did I do bad service and left in a huff without giving any Togo container which we requested.I was in complete shock and didn’t know how to react at his audacity. Felt humiliated in front of my guest.This review is for management so they can handle there employees and not put customers to shame like this.

The chicken enchiladas and steak chimichanga were delicious! The sour cream sauce on the enchiladas was fantastic! I couldn't get enough of the salsa, bean dip and chips!

Watched Mexico get eliminated from the World Cup 22’ … apart from that we had a big party and for the most part they good care of us. A little pricey though for Tex mex that’s very similar to every other Tex mex out there.

Reason giving 1 star is chips, old oil used they were not good, when server bough food roach crawling on my table.... have been here several times food has good flavor won't be back due cleanness could be better.

Highly recommend! Food was fantastic, best pastor tacos. Our server Alberto was excellent! hit every step of service, from the greet to the goodbye and everything between, he killed it. I would go back for his service alone...I loved this place!

It has started to go down hill sadly. Food cold or old idk if I wanna go again got food poisoning from chicken tenders me and my kids and then second time I go foods cold then most recent the food was cold and old the enchiladas were hard and the cheese inside was ew like not melted and kinda hard as well the rice was almost mushy the beans were ok. It was ok at least we didn’t get food poisoning I hope they get back up to where they were because this place was an every Sunday place for us.

Entrees are made fresh and sauces are made when ordered. Great chips and the best Enchiladas. Happy hour has a "red" menu at bar area only that serves top shelf silver and repesado tequila in featured craft cocktails for $6. Pictured is three taco hh special for 6$ snd Mexican mule with huradura rep. Great service and friendly folks.

I absolutely love this place. Great service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The patio is perfect on those beautiful days.I had the brisket quesadillas and they are some of the best I've ever had. The brisket isn't tough like some places. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner with a friend for the first time. Nice modern look inside, they give you chips salsa and black beans to start! Our server Maria was great at eaplaining everything and gave great service. The food beyond expectations and we enjoyed the leftovers. I'll definitely come back.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy Tex-Mexmeal that’s really yummy come here! Service is good, chips/salsa/beans are good! Solid meal for a good price!

We used to go here all the time but then they built Rosa’s across the street so it is more convenient. I just stopped by feeling sorry for them because they are so slow. I wanted to grab some soup to go at quarter to 9. I know it was late but at a quarter to, most places will accommodate. Not Mesa’s. I guess they don’t mind being slow and I guess I will stick to Rosa’s.

This place is so overlooked! Excellent black bean dip, some of my fav charro beans and the Brisket Tacos are where it's at!! You can also ask for a spicier salsa if you'd like and they'll gladly bring it out.

Alberto was our waiter. He was nothing short of excellent. The food was awesome! Hot and on time. This man was very very kind to us. We could not have asked for a better waiter.
