Food and service are really good. The place can get a little loud inside.

Was ok. It's just not my favorite kind of Mexican food place.

My wife and I paid a visit to Isaac and the crew at Mexican Cactus this past Sunday (before Memorial Day) and of course the place was busy. We each had a couple of tacos. Wife went with the pollo and I chose an asada as well as an al pastor. Once again, the food did not disappoint. The asada was cooked to perfection and the al pastor was juicy, flavorful, had just the right amount of fat, and just burst with flavor when I took a bite. So damn good! My problem is that I eat too fast and that I should have savored them a bit more. I stopped myself from ordering more, only because we were there to place a catering order for a party in 2 weeks. This will be our second time having them cater our event. So glad to see the success of this restaurant where so many fail. And I hear rumors that a new location may be opening soon. Can't wait!

Good spot for street style tacos and similar dishes. They have good margaritas and cold beer too.

I don’t understand the good reviews? This is my second and last time here. The food is not good. I had the Al Pastor street taco and the meat was inedible — full of fat. When one of the staff members came by to clear our table she asked “how was your food?” I told her my taco was full of fat and she just shrugged and said “that’s how the pork is.” Very indifferent response. I asked to speak to a manager. He came by with the same kind of attitude but did offer to refund my money. I make pork at home and it is never full of fat chunks. Very disappointed in the food and service.

Don't walk, run! The taco selection is vast and the flavors are deep.

Tacos are good, but spending $14.38 for 3 tacos and still being hungry isn't fun.

Taco Tuesday never tasted so good! Clean and beautiful space with beautiful mural. There were plenty of gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian options. Beef, pork and fish are the main stays and very tasty!

Dietary restrictions: Vegan and fish options. Gluten free was easy.

Kid-friendliness: Open and seating was user friendly

If you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this is NOT the place. However, they have added unique flavor to the tacos that seems to bring many people here. I tried the hochata, which was a bit overly sweet, but still really good. Shrimp cocktail was very unique, but enjoyable. I also ordered the mahi-mahi taco and the lengua tacos and enjoyed them both. My only complaint is the rice and beans. The rice had no flavor and a bit mushy. The beans did not have salt and a seasoning threw them off. I judge you hard on rice and beans, so I probably will not be back, but still think it is worth trying.

Love the tacos here as well as the house made hot sauces. Rice and beans are good too. We like coming here for a quick bite.
