Felt the Grandpa vibe as I ate leftovers from my wife and daughters visit. Jalapenos! They raved and raved about their first visit there. I'm jealous and will be in soon for another fine meal. Thanks!

Delicious! Not a “pick the shape of noodle and red or white sauce” joint, you can find truly memorable pasta dishes here. And the lemon sauce on the salmon is sooooo good!

Cute little place with delicious pasta! I have tried different pastas they serve and all of them were on point!!!!!! Service is also great, Eduardo was very polite, friendly and had great recommendation on the menu. Also service is quick, so if you are using the Tesla Supercharger, this is the best spot to stop. I wish they could open a location in Fort Worth because that is where I live!

I am disappointed that the primavera pasta isn't offered anymore. As a vegetarian that was one of only a couple menu items that I could order. Also, the menu isn't visible on the Mio Nonno website for Allen. That would be helpful if the menu and online ordering were available for Allen too.

Hey it was my first time visiting the restaurant and I was very impressed! Food was fantastic and the service was elite! Also the drinks were very good. Similar to what you would get at a bar so drink up!

The food was crazy delicious and came out quickly. Our water was knowledgeable about all the dishes and when asked about recommendations, he told us his favorites and what most other peoples favorites were. Based on his recommendations, we all ordered something different and no one of us four were disappointed. Our drinks never got below halfway so that was bonus points for me.
Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back there again when I'm in town..

My boyfriend and I came to eat here a couple of nights ago, and we will not be coming back. Our waitress, who was wearing a red cowboy hat, was not very attentive to us but was to the other tables she was serving that night. There was a large birthday dinner she was serving, but my boyfriend and I waited 30 minutes for our food while she was going back to the birthday table and not even glancing at us. It felt a little racially motivated as well because the other two tables she was serving were white, and my boyfriend and I are Mexican. The table behind us was also waiting on their food for a while, and their server went to apologize for the wait, but ours didn’t. I got shrimp alfredo, and my boyfriend got paesano pasta, when we got our food, it was bland and had no taste at all. Our waitress came by to ask us if the food looked okay, and that was the last we saw her until we had to ask her for the bill because she never came back to us. We were very disappointed by the food and service because we paid $50 for two dishes that did not taste good at all. The last time I was here a few years ago, the food and service were amazing, but that is sadly not the case anymore.

This is my go to italian restaurant because the food is absolutely delicious, great service, and a nice, romantic atmosphere. The aragosta (lobster ravioli) is amazing. Wish they would bring back pizza. Been like 5 years since they said their oven broke lol. But other than that no complaints. Best italian restaurant in collin county.

Best Dining Experience - Mio Nonno is the GOAT! ?
Mio Nonno continues to impress with its impressive value, impeccable service, consistently excellent food, and expertly crafted cocktails. Every visit feels like a special occasion! The staff here truly goes above and beyond. Lorenza is not only warm and welcoming but incredibly knowledgeable, making you feel right at home the moment you walk in.
A special mention to Mimi and Matias, who always ensure every detail is perfect. Their professionalism and friendliness elevate the dining experience to another level, from menu recommendations to perfectly timed service. And Carson, the host, never fails to remember my name, which adds such a personal touch to the experience. Katelynn always greets you with a great smile, making every visit feel even more welcoming.
If you're looking for a place that hits all the marks—fantastic food, great drinks, and an humble and low key atmosphere—Mio Nonno is the absolute best. This place is hands down my favorite place in Allen and I can’t recommend it enough!

The space is pretty small and cozy. Greatxservice and food is worth the trip. We love the polenta and mushroom appetizer. The eggplant is always a home run. They do offer gluten free pasta if that is important to you.

We’ve dined at Mio Nonno numerous times and found it to be excellent. This time was different. Our chicken dishes had notably less chicken this time. Menu price increases are one thing, but raising prices and cutting ingredients are quite another. If they are going to cut meat portions, cut the price as well! Hopefully our latest experience was an anomaly.

This place used to be really good. I can recall a time when I would have given 5 stars across the board.
The truth is that isn’t the case anymore. Our server was a woman who was old enough to know how to offer good service…. But she didn’t.
She didn’t offer children menus even though we had 3 children, I had to ask for it after we realized the children’s offerings aren’t listed on the normal menu. She didn’t bring bread, she didn’t take our drink orders and she didn’t bring my husbands food out, or inform us that there was a problem and just let us sit there waiting for it until finally the rest of us began to eat while he waited- finally the server came back to tell him they made the wrong dish.
My vodka pasta which used to be spicy and flavorful, was bland. It was only slightly more flavor than my 1yr old granddaughter’s buttered pasta. My 5 yr old grandson who is hardly a good connoisseur said his Alfredo “ “tasted like salty milk noodles” and he wasn’t wrong. Also.
The pizza oven is merely an ornament on which to set styrofoam cups. The booth along the wall had a large split in the vinyl that pinched my grandson, and he had to sit on one of the throw pillows to keep it from pinching him repeatedly. The chandelier was dusty,. It definitely is a place that looks better at night.
We were a party of 4 adults, 3 small children and an infant. The server added gratuity - which I’m not saying we wouldn’t have tipped, but it wouldn’t have been 20%.
All in all I can’t see a reason to ever go back. Can’t wait to try some of the newer places around and put this place to bed with the Tesla charging station that surround it
