Amazing food and drinks. Customer service exceptional. Ambiance cozy and trendy. We came on a Friday night. Highly recommend having reservations. Dinner started with the appetizer of calamari & zucchini. Followed with the Cacio E Pepe Pasta w/a side of grilled shrimp. (Yes...add the shrimp) and the Bucatini All' Amatriciana Pasta. Both were so good that I forgot to take pictures. Maybe my next visit I'll remember the entree pictures. But I live for good drinks and dessert...HA! They did not disappoint.

Our first time visiting and it was really tasty food!!!! The one thing I wish they had was a kids menu but our 7yr old actually ate most of his 20 dollar lasagna thankfully!! At any rate we'll be back kids menu or not. Tasty food and great service.

Only down was that the Italian beers were out. There was 2 options in the menus and they were out of both. I'll be back here for sure. So please restock the beers!!!! Food here is really good. For sure one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. They deserve 5 star.

Refreshing true Italian choice. Friends of ours took us here for the first time tonight.Excellent ingredients, and innovative menu choices that fit both vegetarian and Keto diets. Loved the antipasti and charcuterie. Pizza was melt in your mouth light and buttery. Meatballs were great (had them as appetizer instead of with spaghetti)

True wood fired pizza! I am very picky about my pizza, and this place is excellent. We did not try any pasta but it looked delicious. The restaurant is super cute and there is a nice patio as well.

Great food... especially the gluten free pizza! We had the Austin style...SOooo tasty. Eggplant was delish too! They got us seated promptly on a busy Saturday night, even though we called at the last minute.

I was going to get a pizza to go. I thought it would take the usual 15-20 minutes. And then I decided to eat in. I think I got a pizza in less than 10 minutes. And it was fresh and fantastic. It is a little expensive for a pizza but omg the taste was phenomenal. I got the Capricciosa. The chairs were a little cheap. No padded seats. Appeared like formica table tops. Depending on the time it might be tough parking right in front but for a little walk or a little inconvenience, the taste was fantastic.Dietary restrictions: They did have gluten-free option.

The eggplant bruschetta was a standout and the calamari was good. Tartufo pizza was solid, the flavor was more mushroom forward than truffle and I would have preferred more truffle but that’s my own love of truffle talking. Squid ink pasta was nice and spicy. Atmosphere was cute and the service was friendly and quick. Tiramisu was great!!There are quite a few vegetarian options that looked great and we tried at least 4! Parking may be an issue for those who can’t walk far, there are a few spots directly in front and to the side of the restaurant, but after those are full you’ll need to park across the street in the other lots. Not really far but I could see it being an issue for some.

We were excited to try out Numero 28 based on the positive reviews. When we arrived, we were promptly seated by the hostess. We waited approximately 20 minutes before the server came by to introduce himself and take our drink orders. During that time, the hostess actually visited the adjacent table twice, chatting with the neighboring table with her back to us. The server asked us if we wanted bread, then never returned with it. The pizza was cold and the lasagne was lukewarm. Disappointed but glad we are from out of town and will never return.

We have the eggplant parmesan, pizza Austin, the gluten-free pizza Austin, and the spaghetti and veal meatballs. It was all delicious! Despite being busy they sat us promptly and the service was excellent. Definitely worth another visit!

The service was good but food. I had squid ink past but it didn't have any seafood flavor. Just shrimps and scallops were there. I guess the source wasn't homemade. The meatballs were also ok. I didn't know what kind of meat that was. I wouldn't go back. But again, their service was good.

This was our second visit. The Margherita Pizza is one of best. Service was friendly. We had reservations and it was very busy when we arrived, but our table was ready for us! We will be back?

We ordered from here the other night and I totally get the hype. Here's everything we ordered: Lasagna- 5/5 hands down the best lasagna I've ever had...hubby agreed Cacio e pepe - 4.5 rich cheesy, creamy, peppery deliciousness and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Chocolate cake- 3/5 meh...kinda dry. Had to take off one star for this. That's the only reason I didn't give them the full 5 stars. Tiramisu - 5/5 this was to die for. So delightful ...like eating a creamy espresso flavored cloud. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to try more dishes.
