Sadly, it appears Pane Vino has closed permanently. I've been there multiple times on multiple days at multiple times of the day and they are never open. Too bad - the food and service were very good.
The menu was concise but a little on the “international” side. The kind of “Italian” menu you get outside of Italy and judging by the number of diners – very popular it was too. From this, I started with some razor clams and scallops, which were surprisingly good. The clams were perfect but the scallops – while tasty and fresh – were coated in soggy breadcrumb. Obviously the trade-off between overcooking the scallops and crisping the bread-crumb, hadn’t been achieved
Arrived about 40-50min before their closing time w/o realizing, but we were still welcomed and service was great and prompt. Menu seems varied, good wine selection too. Pizza tasted great, just slightly too oily for my preference. Atmosphere is relaxing and classy. Manager came to say hello and make sure we had enjoyed our food. Definitely going back!
