I haven’t been coming for a while because things had deteriorated however I broke down today and got to go order when I got home. My daughter’s burrito was completely wrong. I told the hostess chicken cheese beans nothing else no rice no nothing. They put everything except the rice on it. I told the hostess (same one) it was wrong on the phone and told her I was sending my daughter up there and she seemed fine with it and to agree with me. Then, when my daughter got there, the hostess refused to remake it right. Why didn't she at least have the decency to tell me before my daughter carted herself up there? Then, the manager said he had to side with the hostess, this inexperienced kid who actually told me to I could send my daughter back up there! I should’ve learned my lesson the first time. I did call and try to speak with a manager, but every time I called the girl who took my order wrong would hang up on me!

Have been coming to this restaurant for around 15 years if not more. Back in the day we were loyal customers to the point that we got a condolence letter when my dad passed from the owner. We have since moved so whenever we go here its a special treat. The past few times we have had a couple problems but nothing too bad. Today we were given the incorrect order. Of course we didnt find out till we were 30 mins away. We called and explained the situation and they said to come back in and it will be remade. After another 30 minute drive I was informed that the hostess doesnt believe that my mom told her the correct information and therefore they didnt make it wrong so they will not remake it. As a lifelong picky eater I highly highly doubt that my mom did not stress that it needs no veggies and no sour cream but I digress. I am having a bad day and was really excited to eat because my medication makes it hard for me to get food in me but that didnt happen. I am disappointed and sad because I just wanted my food the right way and that didnt happen, i also had to drive an extra hour total over this thinking that the problem would be fixed, and on top of that I am on the clock so my company had to pay me for this time. I just wanted a plain burrito with beans, cheese, chicken, and nothing else.

I ordered 30 single tacos with queso and salsa. When my friend went to pick it up while I was in the hospital, they changed it to $582. You can clearly see what I ordered and I’m so disappointed. The owner keeps dogging all of my calls and refuses to do anything about it. THIS IS NOT OKAY!!!! We budgeted &200 for catering and it took 3x the amount. I’m a stay at home mom always struggling to cover the basic bills.

Let me tell you people, the not only the food was great here, but also we were approached in most relaxed way with cooper the gm the most laid back respectful person and Braydon the manager. These guys really took care of us and we will absolutely come back here again and again. Thanks guys

No photos cause we got up and left. I deleted my original review from 2 years ago with 4 stars. We came in around 5pm on 10/22/2025. We got seated right away, got our chips and salsa right away, we waited about 10 to 15 minutes no server ever came. So we left and I let the hostess know why we left. She apologized. Only about 4 tables had customers and the manager was sitting at one with a couple of old ladies. Will not go back, menu is limited anyway.

Stopped in for dinner about a week ago and the food was very good.. Super flavorful, felt like authentic Mexican food. The salsa had a kick, and everything tasted fresh. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, not fancy but comfortable. Only thing that held it back was the service, it wasn’t terrible, just kind of slow and not super attentive. Still, I’d go back for the food without thinking twice.

The price was fair, the experience was good, so it's definate recommend for me.

Had to try a similar restaurant while this location was under renovations. Total disappointment. That restaurant was no where near the quality of Papa Lopez.
Cooper and his staff at Papa Lopez provide the absolute best of service, drinks, and an outstanding menu with quality pricing. If you are dining alone or with the family, you will not be disappointed with this establishment.
No one beats Papa Lopez's service, pricing or quality of food and beverages.
Happy they are back in service. Renovations to the restaurant look great. Can't wait to eat here again.

It's closed for remodeling

The Resturant was closed for remodeling according to the sign out front. It was recommended by someone so waa disappointed that it was closed. No indication on the sign when it would reopen.

Off to a rough start . Cute place . The chips were stale and it took a while to get a beer . But after that - we were more than satisfied . Our entrees came out quickly and the food was very , very good . So mixed reviews on my side . Might want to try it again just to see if they were having a bad night with the chips and the bar service
