Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I visited this Popeyes branch on a Friday night at around 9:30 PM. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The cashier was rude and seemed uninterested in helping. When I asked about certain items, he didn’t know the answers and didn’t seem to care. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which I was charged for but never received. Additionally, my sandwich was changed in the menu, and they said they didn’t have bacon. Overall, the service was quite lacking.

The service was great! The blackened chicken strips were life changing. Oh, but the biscuits could break a window lol

*Update: Visited this location again 8/21. Employee Jose was rude. He also didn’t have his shirt tucked and was very unprofessional.

I visited today and had a very disappointing experience. The customer service is very poor- my order was wrong multiple times, and the staff were unprofessional and unapologetic about the mistakes. When I asked for a receipt due to the repeated issues, I was told their machine wasn't working. Talk to the manager and with the same unprofessional attitude.Definitely not visiting this place and the frozen strawberry lemonade we got taste horrible.

Me and my boyfriend ordered $33 worth of food through drive through to find out they forgot half of it. He had to constantly go back in to request for the remainder of the order which started to raise suspicion on if we were lying or not. It also didn’t help the fact that we weren’t given a receipt at the beginning and the only form of proof we had was the charge on my card. Overall they ended up giving us the reminder of the food, as so we thought, till we were miles away and found out we were missing a large side. I respect how they gave us the remainder of our order with no hassle but please look into your workers. Customers shouldn’t have to constantly check their orders to see if it’s right.

Lost my mobile order. Grabs chicken without gloves after watching them handle money which was gross. Their food sits for a longgggg time. I didn’t have a single thing that wasn’t old and grease soaked. Never again.

Chicken was cold and rubbery, mashed potatoes were scalding hot & dry from sitting under a lamp, 3 entire sides were missing all after sitting in the drive through for about 15 minutes. How do you have an entire renovation & new equipment just to serve worse quality products than before? Entirely too much money for such disgusting products.

My poor rating is all due to the chicken quality. We've enjoyed going here ever since they've been at this location usually once a week. Last several times, however, the chicken strips have had a bad texture, like rubber. When the chicken is like this I can't bring myself to eat it. I don't know what it is but we haven't been back in over a month. Sorry because it used to be a regular visit.

Ordered a Strawberry lemonade with my meal. When I took a sip it tasted and smelled like urine. I thought I was tripping. I had my daughter smell the drink and she also confirmed the very strong urine smell. I called the restaurant several times and the phone just kept ringing. Will never be eating at that location again. Location Address: 6520 State HWY 121 McKinney, TX 75013. I will be contacting the health code enforcement agency to move forward with this issue. I hope no one else experiences what I just experienced.
