Great local family owned restaurant! The Sloppy Joe's are delicious and they have some of the best fried pickles ever! My son loves going in and playing the free games while we hang out and eat!

Yum yum yum! Definitely some of the best fried catfish and fried shrimp I’ve had in Collin County! Fried and seasoned to perfection! Not to mention the service is always friendly! The only thing they’re missing is some Louisiana hot sauce ?

The food here is awesome. I love it. All of the items I have tried are delectable and delicious. Their sloppy dog and Italiano Joe are my favorites.

Honestly the thing that stands out here is the service. The cashiers are friendly and everyone I see seems to have a big smile and helpful attitude. They really support Allen in a way only a small business can. Also fantastic food, of course!

This was our first visit and we will be back for sure. Had original sloppy Joe with onion rings. Tasted just like my moms. Generous portion size. Onion rings were fresh and crispy. The young man at the counter was super nice. Best customer experience I have had. Can’t wait to go back!

Wheelchair accessibility: easy access in and out. Tables well spaced and bathroom is easy to maneuver. Only complaint is paper towels in ladies room way too high for wheelchair user

For the order, we had:1) The Original Sloppy Joe2) Cheeseburger3) Sloppy Frieds4) Onion Rings5) Fried MushroomsThe Food - 3 Stars:Pretty average flavor. Burger was not impressive at all though fresh. The buns were the best part, hands down. The Sloopy Joe has a unique flavor just not to my liking as much. The portion size was generous (and should be for the cost). Frieds were good and onion rings a little too crispy, but if you like them crispy, these would be amazing for you.The Service - 5 Stars:The woman behind the counter was very cordial and helpful with the menu, asking if we have been into the restaurant before. She had some great recommendations and was attentive. The Price - 3 Stars:~$44 before tip. Cost was on par with the serving sizes. The Vibes - 5 Stars:Very spacious with some arcade games and air hockey table. Very family oriented and decorated with some sloppy joe trivia. It is a BYOB place, so if you are in the mood for an adult beverage, make sure you bring in your own.Overall, solid 4 stars. I could see this place easily being a hot spot for locals. If you are in the area, would recommend. We plan on coming back and trying some of the seafood plates and maybe some key lime pie.

Kid-friendliness: Arcade Games and Air Hockey table.

This little restaurant hits the spot! We stopped in for a quick lunch and I got the texas sloppy joe with sloppy fries, my husband got the original sloppy joe and regular fries and they even had chicken nuggets and key lime pie. The owners were so great, very friendly and you can tell they are proud of their business. Will definitely come back when on this side of town.

Kid-friendliness: arcade games for kiddos!

I ordered from UberEATS. The food had no flavor and it was chunks of hamburger meat. The fries were good. There were chunks of onion and bell peppers, as if it was cooked separately. Not trying again.

First time at Sloppy Mess Kitchen and won't be out last! The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. It's got a beachy diner feel...very quaint. Highly recommend!

Great burger & fries! I ordered the fish, shrimp & onion rings basket which was so big, I took half of it home. The fish has a cormeal coating and is very flaky. The shrimp were small, so the chef doubled them, (Which was very considerate). This restaurant values its customers!Clean establishment and excellent customer service! Very cool, two vintage Arcade games: Mortal Combat II and Pac-Man!We'll be back for a burger!

Stopped into this place while visiting the area because we wanted to try something new and different. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. This was my first sloppy joe not out of a can, and I can say that I have been missing out. My wife got the patty melt and she also enjoyed her meal. The fried pickles were extra crispy and will make you pucker. I can't wait to come back to try their seafood dishes, mostly their coconut shrimp!

The food all tasted homemade. SO GOOD!! It was better than expected and we will be back here often! Owners were also very kind and accommodating. I had the sloppy Joe’s with melted cheese over it and onion rings on top in the sandwich. Not a combination I would have thought of but it was absolutely delicious. Their French fries were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Don’t miss out on the Key Line Pie. Everything was Perfect!

Amazing place for family dinner!!! We had the burgers, but the sloppy joes look great too. The onion rings are fresh cut and delicious! The fries are freshly cut and so good it’s hard to choose just one. Great place to take the family and play some arcade games while you wait for your fresh food to get prepared. I’ve never seen anyone playing the games once they have their food, because the food is simply that good! A must try in Allen area. Best burgers around!

Absolute gem! I found this on Google as I was searching for a fun new lunch place. The reviews sold me...and the food sealed the deal. Had the original sloppy joe and it was SOOOO good. Comfort food, for sure! I got tater tots and they were PERFECTLY cooked... crispy and delicious. The sloppy joe filling was sweet and tangy and you could tell they used great ingredients. To top it off, it was BOGO pie day! We bought one slice of homemade key lime pie and got a second for free and it was EPIC!!! We will definitely be back!!! (NOTE: They are BYOB, and do not have fountain drinks...)

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!

Parking: Easy parking right out front!

What a hidden gem! Just tried it for the first time. I've been craving sloppy joes but I'm too lazy to fix it. I had the Original Joe. I've never had pickles on a SJ, but I tried it. Not bad! The onions/peppers gave it a great flavor! The fries were also fresh (although I'd like a tad more salt). My husband got the Patty Melt - it looked fantastic (and I was able to get one bite!)It's also a BYOB, which is a great option!I didn't have room for the Key Lime, and the Chicken Salad sounded really good too - I'll be back to give them a try!
