Horrible service from the hostess and the kitchen was unbelievably slow. I came to pick up a DoorDash order as a delivery driver.
I waited between 15 and 20 minutes for an order that should’ve already been ready when I arrived. After about five minutes, I asked the host and she said it would be ready soon.
After 10 minutes, I asked again and she told me that they were bagging it up.
After 20 minutes, I went back to the area where the food was coming out and asked “what’s the issue with the order?” The hostess and 2 other teenage girls proceeded to roll her eyes and said “there’s no issue with the order….” as if I was being absolutely ridiculous for having a problem with waiting 20 minutes on an order that should’ve been ready when I arrived.
I proceeded to explain to these very rude girls in a very firm tone that they need to give honest answer when the food isn’t ready. I need to make money too. That could’ve been an opportunity for another driver and I could have left and done a different delivery.
All this to say - the hostess and other young ladies working out of the kitchen are rude and unhelpful. They’re not friendly or pleasant.
Hope the food is good enough to make the experience worth it. I guess it’s really that hard to find good people now.

I really have a favorite breakfast that is usually a meat lover Skillet with over easy eggs and pancakes. There are a few good places to get it, but sunview Cafe combines great food with very friendly and welcoming service. This is a great breakfast spot for everything that me or my family has ordered.. and they keep the friendly welcoming environment. Great choice

Sunview Cafe in Allen makes the best crepes! I love the hint of cinnamon in the batter! The wait staff are always willing to add strawberries to the banana Nutella crepes when I ask and the bacon is always on point……extra crispy!

Excellent customer service, good came out fast and was delicious. Grits lacked A LOT of seasoning but with butter, salt, and pepper that was an easy fix. Small quaint place but good vibes and music. Fresh squeezed orange juice was AMAZING!

I have been visiting this place every time I am in Dallas . It is a decent place but I feel things are going down on food quality and service . I believe if you don’t have great tasting food what makes it worse when you serve it cold . So that is the experience I had today . Since the order took ages to come I did not made fuss and just ate it .During weekend when you know it will be busy then pls put more wait staff to provide quick service
We've always had very good food here. Today - Cool eggs and hash browns, warm bacon and biscuits. Food took longer than usual to hit the table, especially considering the restaurant was well less than half full. Sent eggs and hash browns bk, new eggs came out hot, hash browns greasy and lukewarm.Biscuits, tho only warm, were good as was the coffee

Everything tasted really good. Surprised at how fresh everything was. They even cut up their own fruit and use fresh fruit in their pancakes and waffles. Their apple-chicken sausage links are fantastic. Sunview is a little gem with the charm of an old country Cafe stuck in the the middle of town. They even have grits, dummy!! The servers were really polite and cheerful.
