Tempura California roll was delicious. The chicken teriyaki meal was also delicious. Salad is very good, good lettuce. Soup was fantastic. Server was very kind and attentive. Fast service. 100/10 experience. Quiet atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Sushi Maru is hands down my new go-to spot! The sushi was absolute perfection, fresh, flavorful, and rolled like little works of art. 🎨✨
But what really blew me away was the customer service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, it honestly felt like dining with friends who just happen to be master sushi chefs. 🥢💛
The place is spotless, stylish, and has such a good vibe, clean tables, cozy atmosphere, and the kind of energy that makes you want to stay for “just one more roll.”
If you haven’t been yet, stop what you’re doing and go. Sushi Maru isn’t just good, it’s bomb good!

Fresh & Delicious!
My family really enjoys the food here. We primarily do take out, but have eaten in the establishment a few times. However- the last FIVE times we have ordered takeout, we don’t receive all of our order. It never fails and we have to go back and get it, and they have never offered any sort of compensation. Fine, we are easy going people and are understanding. Also, they don’t acknowledge special requests (and they are simple, like add spicy mayo.) We gave it one more shot tonight, and my son went to pick up the order. I told him to please make sure everything is there. And guess what? It wasn’t. First they handed him someone else’s order entirely even after asking for the name, and then gave us the correct order that was missing half of it. So now my son is sitting there while they complete the order. Unfortunately, this has been a theme and shows poor customer service and attention to detail. We won’t dine there anymore.
Not going to give bad rating because don’t want to hurt the business, but will write my honest review - If you like good sushi, this ain’t it. The sushi rolls are the size of my face, falling apart and don’t taste good. My husband and I ended up throwing away two rolls out of three we have ordered.
Sasa sushi in Dallas and Kotta sushi in McKinney are the standard and how sushi rolls are supposed to taste. I recommend the owner to check it out.

You have to get the hibachi fried rice.
The sauce that it comes on the side is borderline illegal.
It’s our Friday lunch or dinner spot!!!
Our new favorite sushi spot. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly 🙌
Wonderful place to get sushi and other food!
Thank you 🙏

Food was very fresh, great service, and just an overall great experience. Will be coming here again!
Food was solid. Sushi chef behind the counter was great to chat with and made me a roll with mackerel and jalapeño that was the bomb.
Of the two waitresses I got the wrong one.
Will go back.
Absolutely delicious! I think the Rainbow Roll was my favorite that I’ve had anywhere!
Also, these rolls are huge.
